Malaya made her way outside still thinking about what just happened inside the office. She couldnt help but smile she felt so happy, beyond happy. Her fingers made their way and touched her swollen lips. She pushed her tongue out and traced it across her lips to have the lingering taste of him in her mouth once more. Then she smiled again she couldnt help it she was on a high. She wondered if the persons on the side walk thought she was crazy just smiling to herself. But Malaya didnt care.

She would revel in all of it. She didnt want the moment to end or the feel or the taste of him to go away. Malaya kept on smiling until she started to feel weird it was like she was going crazy. She wanted the feeling to stop and she wanted to stop smiling but she just couldnt and it made her uncomfortable in a sense. All she wanted to do was run back to the building and into his office and right into his arms again and again. She looked at the card that she he had given her which she still held in her hands.

That made her smile again. It was his name, personal number, work number and his email. She laughed at how uncanny he was. Normally a person would just give just their personal number but he gave her all three means of contacting him and it made the butterflies in her stomach flutter. It showed how different he was and how sweet and thoughtful he was too. He wanted her to use another mean if perhaps she didnt get through with the first. Malaya flagged a cab and told the driver where she was going once it stopped and she was inside.

In no time she was at the bar. The journey back even seemed shorter than the journey to office. She made her way inside the bar and towards the back where she changed into her work clothes and came back out all professional. The other girl took her leave since her shift was over. There were a few people at the bar and she went over to them and asked what they would be having. She served them once they told her their order.

It went like that for the rest of the time. The bar was busy and she kept moving from person to person as she poured them their order. She did a few tricks that she had picked up by watching YouTube videos since she was no expert when it came to bartending. Those tricks earned her a huge some of tips which she was ecstatic for. She had her little jar that she placed them in or sometimes inside her pocket o her skirt. Malaya was enjoying herself at work and enjoying meeting new people or being around them.

Her job required her to meet people and even converse and that was what she was doing. She was getting a bit tired of the boring and lonely life she was now living and she wanted it to change. Even if that meant meeting new friends which she wasnt really fond of. It was so bad after all since she had taken this job she found it had become a little easier to talk to people. This had taught her a lesson, that no job was more menial than the other. And that all jobs had something special about it, something different to teach and experience as well as appreciate.

Persons tend to look down at the simple job, or the ones they consider menial. But her she didnt care a job was a job and respected everyone and the job they did. All jobs help to support the other as well as society. Without a particular job the society would be lacking or the important lesson would be missing.

Malayas shift was now over and she picked up her jar and made her way around the back where she changed her work clothes and was now in her own. She placed the cash in her bag and put her jar in her locker. Her reliever had come and she said goodbye and left as she made her way home.

All she could think about on her way home was that kiss that still lingered on her lips and she smiled.
