In a wake of lies there stood three truths
stuck together in the combat for the fittest ,
the most accurate,
the most bone crushing
sentiment reeking
tongue twisted truth
...
1.
They would tell you of the sky so perfectly built that no eyes can look at it directly with light heart
There would almost always be a tear
or a shiver, or a gasp
Rarely someone would stand on their toes in hope to touch it,
they would barely feel a silky wind before it flew away
What they don't tell you is that the sky used to be a floor,
an oaky, old floor with bugs standing in its cracks
always listening calmly as if the bomb isn't ticking near,
as if just now the ground isn't preparing to shout and puke its core,
as if two feet to the left no one is sharpening its teeth
This is a fact
a truth proven with science

2.
They would tell you of the sky made of stars and stars made of people and people made of honey
or not honey but there was almost always something sweet
or rich or toothsome,
easy to live of with what lives inside of you,
easy to bubble into life, into love, into space
What they don't tell you is that that sky is built from million footprints
million angsty ants carrying your weight like its nothing,
like its the ash from earth,
as if you had a nerve to weight a pound more,
as if what happened isn't life changing, world- changing experience
This is what they call a false alarm,
a not worthy reason to notice anything

3.
They would tell you of the sky that acted like a house, like it would hold you to the end of the end of the existence
There was almost always something else, something out of this world
or something sainted and never wicked,
never actually dared to be vile
It was always oozing with calm weather and forgiving rain
What they don't tell you is that the home went mad with power,
the windows cracked and the lamps all went on fire
gushing wildly, puffing away
creating a disaster of a memory,
leaving pavement blurry in mind
She used to love that floor with no carpets,
she used to love this home,
but the sky is perfectly built,
like no one got hurt in making it
