Namjoon's Wedding

"Care to explain that?"

"There's a record of our marriage in the family registry."

"Of course, that's the definition of a valid legal marriage. Since when are you married?"

"When the scandal broke out and you asked me to talk to him—"

"That's a year ago! How did this happened?"

"I told him I'm gonna marry him when he gets out if he'll stop bothering you. He did, so I signed some documents he shipped to Paris and shipped them back. I thought, well we didn't really got married so it must've been illegal." Jan howled again.

"So when did you discover that it was legal."

"Two months after Hani got married and— and— she was checking if their marriage was registered— and out of curiosity I checked my name and it was—"

"Let me get this straight, you signed a wedding contract, and thought— we didn't really said I do to each other, it must've not been legal who cares. Then discovered, it was legal and you didn't bother to tell me?"

"I DIDN'T KNOW HE WILL SUBMIT IT TO FAMILY REGISTRY!!!"

"Don't shout at me. I'm not the one who signs marriage contracts out of whim. Answer my question Jan. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was scared you'll be mad and do things to him. I figure, maybe we can talk, Hyungwon and I — and you know I'll solved it before you even knew it existed." Jan said. "I brought so much problem already—"

"Were you horny so you dropped a hundred points—"

"Fuck you! I just want you to be happy! I really thought once Hyungwon is not bothering you, we'll be together again."

"We did."

"No, we didn't! That's why I got drunk during Hani's wedding. I fucking sacrificed everything and it was still Yoongi who looked for me."

Jan hiccups with her incessant crying and I begin to feel sorry for her. "If he vanished, you can file for abandonment, I'm sure a lawyer—"

"I can't. He emails me and sends me money that I don't use. I already consulted a lawyer. If I file it and he contends, the trial will be longer."

I rubbed her back and Jan clung to me. "I'm sorry." She said. "I'm sorry, I'm stupid."

"You sure are." I said and Jan punched me. "When did he disappear?"

"Last year, when you proposed, I went to his house but when I gave him the divorce papers, he shut the door. I haven't talked to him since then."

I closed my eyes, hoping that clarity would finally get into my brains.

She cried again. "You're still mad at me aren't you?"

"A bit." I said and she cried even louder.

"Stop crying, princess. Okay, Daddy's not mad at you anymore." Upon hearing it, Jan bite her lower lip and wipe her tears.

"You know what's going on my mind when you didn't asked me again? I thought you wanna break up with me. Yesterday, it feels like you would, you said it was the last time." She said having calm down a bit but tears are still streaming from her eyes.
