~Well, what else can I say about Nick and Carmelita? As you can see, our relationship is...complicated, and with Rae giving me the evil eye, I think I just upgraded it to...hazardous. We certainly weren't expecting those two to crash the party. They were so busy with their latest case, I never thought they'd had their eyes on us. In fact, I had kinda been counting on it... But then again, I should've known to never underestimate Inspector Nicolas Wulf and Carmelita Fox. As much as they liked having fun, Nick and Carmelita were serious about their police work, and now we--err, I had a lot of explaining to do... But the plan was already in motion, so there was no stopping now, even though I think I'd need the time machine just to patch things up with them...
Before the heist though, we'd recruited our disco-loving, scuba diving friend, Dimitri Lousteau to look after the Thievius Raccoonus and the Thievius Focus because they were irriplacable and the only guide we had, so it was far too risky to take the books through time with us. Bentley had even invented a communication device to allow us to communicate no matter where or when we traveled. It was a perfect situation since it allowed him to update us on any changes to the book while limiting our exposure to his...fashion critiques.
Everything was happening so fast! The past few days were...just a blur. But as we howled through the time vortex, I realized that we were in for a very long trip...~

~We needed to locate Yukina Vixen and Rioichi Cooper, master ninjas...and master chefs. According to the Cooper and Vixen Clan history, Yukina and Rioichi were actually the inventors of sushi. After creating this delectable dish, they opened a sushi restaurant which, while very prosperous, also provided the perfect cover for a pair of ninjas. When we got to Japan, however, something was obviously very wrong. What should've been a peaceful village was more like a heavily patrolled military base. We located Rioichi and Yukina's sushi restaurant, only to find it shut down and under guard. Things got worse when Bentley discovered that Rioichi was locked up in a new, high security jail, and my ancestor, Yukina, was being forced to be some kind of concubine! I mean, seriously? Elegdedly, it was for serving bad sushi to the Shogen. To us, it all sounded like a pretty tough piece of fish to swallow... We needed to get to the bottom of this, and the first order of business was getting Rioichi and Yukina out of prison~
Year 1603:
Feudal Japan"Alright, you two, first thing's first: As you know, we have to break Rioichi and Yukina out of prison, but before we can do that, I'm gonna need some recon photos of the area to get a better look at our surroundings." Bentley explained to Sly and Rae. "And that means you two are gonna have to work together on this one."
