Caremlita pulled up to the peer on a large raft, stopping right next to the dock so she could meet up Tennessee and Georgia, who were patiently awaiting her arrival. "This river is dangerous, but it leads right back to the prison. Way I figure it, they won't be expectin' us to come this way. You sure you're up to this, Miss Fox?" Tennessee asked.

"Uh, that's "Inspector Fox," but just call me "Carmelita." And thanks for the rescue, by the way."

"My pleasure." The raccoon nodded.

"Uh, Inspector, you some kinda sheriff or somthin'? How'd ya get mixed up with Sly and Rae?" Georgia spoke up.

"It's a long, complicated story." Carmelita replied. "Right now though, I need to rescue those two troublemakers, so I can wring their necks!"

Georgia gave a nervous chuckle. "Well, uh, if it makes ya feel better, Rae done gave Sly a good slug not too long ago."

"Wait, what? Are those two having some kinda argument or something?" Carmelita questioned.

"Well, sorta, I guess..." Said Tennessee.

"It's, uh, complicated, y'all could say." Georgia rubbed the back of her neck.

"Hmm... That's odd, but I guess if Rae is giving that ringtail hell, then I don't have to do it myself." Carmelita shrugged before clearing her throat. "Anyway, what's this prison like?"

"Uh, well, plenty of fire, for starters..." Tennessee shrugged.

"Terrific... Let's get going." Carmelita motioned before the two thieves hopped down onto the raft.

"You just leave steerin' to me, darlin'." Tennessee said. "Can't have my little lady get hurt again, now can I?"

"If y'all say so." Georgia merely nodded as Tennessee got the raft moving. "Hey, uh, Carmelita, was it?"

"Yes, what is it?" The officer asked, glancing toward Georgia as she walked up to stand next to the orange fox.

"About Sly and Rae..."

"What even happened between those two anyway? Every time I've seen them, they're always so lovey-dovey with each other, so...what's the deal with that?" Carmelita asked.

"Well, I don't know all the details myself, but I reckon Sly done made a fool of himself and ticked her off."

"Wouldn't be the first time..."

"Maybe, but this don't seem normal, honestly." Georgia said. "Rae is pretty fired up on this one to the point where she won't even gander at Sly."

Carmelita frowned, placing a hand against her chin. That can't be good... Just what went down between those two?

"Well, we can worry about their lover's quarrel later. For now, we need to focus on rescuing everyone. So, while Tennessee takes the wheel, you and I can cover him." Carmelita said.

"So, if you take the right, I got the left taken care of." Georgia suggested.

"Fine, that works."

"And y'all didn't forget how to use that there pistol, did ya?"

Caremlita smirked. "Not a chance. Don't worry, I know how to use this bad boy, so make sure you watch my back, got it?"

"Likewise, Inspector." Georgia tipped her hat before whipping out her gun.

For a couple of minutes, all was silent, but it didn't last long, because soon enough, gunfire began to go off, heading in their general direction. "Here we go! Let's light 'em up!" Carmelita called before she began to fire her shock pistol, Georgia doing the same as both were covering their respective sides.
