Chaeyoung's POV

"You can go home Chaeyoung. The meeting has ended. I can do the rest," I raised my eyebrow at Soobin's words. I stay glued to the ground as I gawk at her.

She raised her head from the documents she was reading and raised an eyebrow at me.

"What?"

"Are you sick?" the words immediately came out of my mouth before I can stop myself.

Soft chuckles escaped her lips which confused me even more.

"There are a lot of things you don't know Chaeyoung. Leave and take a rest. Let me do my job here," she mumbled shooing me with her hands.

Once I'm out of her office, I almost screamed out loud when Taehyung suddenly jumped in front of me, my hands reaching for my chest before hitting him continuously on his arms.

"Sorry, you should have seen your face!" he was laughing out loud and I have never wanted to kill my cousin like this before.

You'll think he's some cool guy but here he was, jumping off to someone and laughing out loud. And he did this all, pulling up a stunt while wearing his tuxedo.

How is he and Jungkook normal? Even Hoseok acts like them actually.

I'm just glad Jimin acts maturely in the office, and that is only because he's the boss and he basically has an image to take care of.

"Whatever Kim Taehyung. Let me alone before I kick that stupid ass of yours," I told him before turning my back and rushing back to our office so I can fix my things.

It's almost five and I'm dying to go home. That meeting ended up two long hours and it drained the heck out of me. I'm actually surprised Soobin still has the energy to finish her reports after all that torture.

"Wait," Taehyung called for my name as he jog backward to level with me.

"What now?" I grimaced and he chuckle.

"Wanna go grab some ice cream?" he asked and I let out a sigh.

"I'm tired, Taehyung. My bed had been calling me nonstop since an hour ago,"

A naughty grin escaped his lips and that bothered me a little,  my stomach churning and that is more than enough for me to get nervous.

Something is definitely up.

"Well, okay. Don't tell me I didn't ask you to join okay? Don't bug me later if you see pictures of your hubby going around with some random girl," he stated and that stopped me from my trance, my body in auto-pivot as I gawk at him.

"What?" my voice was stern and I'm not sure Taehyung noticed but I saw him gulp.

"Ahmm, you see, one his acquaintance or "friend" just came from the US. And judging from how she's acting around Jimin, I'm sure you wouldn't like it," he awkwardly stated quoting the word "friend" in the process.

An exasperated sigh escaped from my lips.

"It's fine. It's his life," I stated though deep inside, my heart is beating rapidly - not in a fluttering way but more on frustration and at the same time, nervousness.

What if that girl is actually his girlfriend in the US?

We are married, yes, but we both know it's all on the papers we never really had a proper understanding.

Even after what happened to us the other night and our few escapades together, I'm still clueless about what our relationship is right now.

He raised his eyebrow,  a judging look showing on his face.
