Chaeyoung's POV

I let out a huff after pushing the door to our office, the worried look on Yuri's face greeting me.

"Chaeyoung-ah, are you feeling better?" she asked, pulling me for a quick hug. Soobin soon followed and so did the rest of the team.

"Hey, do you wanna lose your job?" Soobin pulled Lucas when he, apparently also fell in line to go get a hug.

I laughed a little after I saw Lucas pouting, recalling what he said after the incident. He was insisting on calling all of his connections as if Jimin's aren't more than enough.

Speaking of which, Jimin probably knew I already arrive seeing that my phone started ringing the moment I put it on the top of my table.

Yuri groaned.

"Please tell me he won't be camping here again," she mumbled.

It has been a week since the incident and I am not feeling so well lately. On top of that, Jimin had been acting too weird. It's like paranoia had eaten him alive.

The past week, he would stay close to me, meaning, he would sit on an empty chair in our office which made everyone uncomfortable.

If he'll be out for more than an hour, he won't go unless I go with him.

Imagine how red my face had been the entire time he was doing rounds and he had my hand intertwined with his.

Not sure if that was his intention but he was almost showing me off with everyone as if proving to them I am indeed his wife which is quite impossible to miss since he made sure to release a statement about it after what happened.

As for the two girls, they lost their job and I am still hoping they'd still find another coz Jimin and his stepmom was quite adamant about making sure they can't step on any company after this.

It's quite funny how they were agreeing to something and I was sure Jimin did not even notice. They were talking animatedly like they were the aunt and the nephew while Yoongi oppa shook his head in amazement.

I know it's not an easy process for Jimin to easily accept her but at least we can see improvement. Besides, Jimin doesn't go around disrespecting her.

Jimin wanted me to take a leave since I've been feeling so down these past few days but I just can't stop myself from working. Besides, the marks on my body had slowly healed. There's really no reason to rest.

Just then, the door suddenly opened revealing a panting Jimin and Hoseok oppa, who seemed to have made a run in here.

"Aist," I heard a few of my teammates groaning before turning their attention back to their work.

A soft smile escaped my lips.

"Baby, I told you to just stay at the office," he started whining before moving closer until he was standing in front of me, his hands cupping my face and my cheeks were probably now burning red from embarrassment.

Lately, it seems that it has become easier for him to show his affection towards me. However, I found it awkward sometimes since he'd suddenly pull me closer giving me a peck on my forehead even when were walking in the lobby.

Not that I'm complaining though but I wasn't used to this version of him.

Just a few years ago, our relationship was the polar opposite of what we have right now and it's overwhelming.

"I don't have anything to do at home. And please don't camp in our office Jimin. You have work to do," I chuckled and he pouted. He leaned forward for a quick kiss and before I could even decline, he was already quick enough to claim it.

I laughed as he released me, his arms landing on my waist.

"I can't leave my baby alone. I don't want another incident like that happening or I'll lose my shit, Chaeyoung," he answered seriously and I can't help but be amused.

"Babe, I am just here inside our office with all of them with me. And besides, you like to have half of the security following my movements every time I go out of this office. Don't even deny it," I pointed my finger at his chest and he grimaced. "I heard someone reporting of my last location to Jungkook through his radio,"

"Jimin has officially lost it," we heard Hoseok oppa whispering and Jimin glared at him.

"At least I have a wife. Unlike someone there who just stares at a certain someone's photo but doesn't have the guts to even ask her to go on a date," Jimin snickered and I was sure he was side-glancing over Soobin who was sitting near Yuri while checking some documents.

Hoseok oppa's eyes widened and Jimin looked so amused by himself.

"Yah," Hoseok oppa roared like a kitten on Jimin and my mouth widened in realization, a loud gasp escaping my lips.

"Holy sh-" Jimin covered my lips before I could even finish my words, Soobin's eyes now focused on mine, her eyebrows raised as if she were judging my reaction.

"If you two don't shut it, I'm going to bring all of my things to your house and live there," he threatened and both Jimin and I laughed at his words.

Too late though, coz Soobin was already walking in his direction.

Jimin took that as a cue to shut up.

Jimin then looked in my direction, his gaze softening immediately and at that instant, my heart's beating tripled.

I know I have seen him a lot of times. I know he had been with me for months now excluding the years that we were married but I guess my heart will still beat the same or even faster because of him.

And I know it. He was staring at me lovingly like it was all me that mattered.

"I love you," he mouthed and I swear my heart skipped in Mars at that.

His right hand brushed the strands of hair that were slightly covering my face and the contact sent chills all over my body.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" he asked, not minding what was happening around us.

And then something suddenly hit you.

"Chimchim, I want an avocado," you told him and he looked at you confused.

"Babe, you hate avocados," he answered as a matter of fact.

"I know. But I want to eat one now. So go and buy some, okay?" I told him before showing him out of the room.

"Don't come back until you have it," I told him. For some reason, I suddenly felt upset that he seemed to doesn't want to buy me one.

His chuckle echoed across the room.

"Okay, by the way, I'll meet you later. I have something to show and discuss with you," he stated and I wonder what it was.

Regardless, I just nodded my head and closed the door straight to his face.

Park Jimin, you can't go home without my fucking avocado.
