After that, ehem, performance, Roxas' shift is surprisingly dull. There was a slight up rise in customers, so that shows that the brunet had done what they had hoped. He hasn't seen the dancer though since his performance, and Roxas finds himself dying to see him again. He doesn't know why exactly, but there was something that drew him to the spiky haired brunet. Not just sexual, though Roxas can admit that is part of it. Maybe he just wants to know what he said at the end, which is ludicrous, but Roxas just can't get that blue eye and wicked grin out of his head.
Unfortunately, Roxas' distraction had effected his performance at work, so Luxord had him stay until two-thirty in the morning. Roxas sighs as he trudges home, unable to take the bus and not wanting to bug Xion for a ride since she is probably already asleep at this time.
'One of these days I need to get my own car, it's a pain in the ass to have to live off of one driver.'
Roxas shakes his head as he walks, keeping a wary eye out for any trouble. Sure the college he goes to is near the bar, but his apartment sure isn't. He really needs to get a car...
He hears footsteps casually following him and looks behind him, seeing multiple human shaped shadows from the street lamps on the ground. His pace quickens, though he is trying not to be obvious about it, as he focuses on the road ahead of him.
The people following him proceed to walk faster as well, leaving no doubt that they are after him. Roxas' heart pounds in his chest, as if trying to get out and run ahead of him, every instinct telling him to follow his heart's lead and run as fast and as far away as possible. Roxas ducks down a side road, hoping to give whoever is after him the slip as he books it.
Big. Mistake.
Roxas comes to a screeching halt as he meets a chain link fence, effectively blocking Roxas' escape. He can tell just by looking that he won't be able to get over it in time.
The lamp in the street gets blocked out and Roxas slowly turns, his eyes widening as he trembles in place.
The first person he sees is a woman, tall and thin with short blonde hair slicked back, two bits sticking up like antennas. A sadistic smirk twists her otherwise attractive features as she puts a hand on her hip, dozens of knives gleaming at the belt at her waist. The second person is a man, long blue hair sweeping his shoulders with shorter hair sweeping back, giving the impression of a wolf or wolverine. He has an angry x shaped scar in between his eyes and his face has no expression as he holds a large weapon that Roxas can't identify behind him.
The final man has long pink hair surrounding a smirking face, there is no weapon on his person that Roxas can see, but there is a dark and heavy feeling around him that puts the cornered man on edge.
Roxas' eyes grow big as he recognizes the pink head. This was the guy whom Roxas had given a black eye to! That was only a couple of nights ago, so where...?
"Surprised?" The man chuckles as he absently runs his fingers on his healed eye, "yes, I will say you surprised me that night, but I'm sure you'll find this situation different wouldn't you say?"
In a blink, the man appears right in front of Roxas, causing him to jump back in shock. Unfortunately, this also has him cornered up against the chain link fence. The two others walk up behind the smirking male, effectively leaving nowhere for him to go if Roxas does manage to get by.
"H-how..."
"Yes, I'm sure you're quite surprised little human. Allow my to introduce myself properly."
The man grins, showing off white teeth; including a pair of long, needle sharp fangs.
"My name is Marluxia, and I'm afraid you rejected the wrong creature, my little yellow rose."
