Thursday 7:23 a.m.

She still wasn't back and Yoongi felt something heavy hit the pit of his stomach. Now he was genuinely curious at what was keeping her for eight days. Maybe something happened to her...? Maybe she was sick? What if she was in the hospital? What if she got into an accident?

What if she died?! He wondered, and he could feel anxiety start to fill up inside him to the point he could feel it in the joints of his arms. However he took a step back. He didn't even know this girl... he didn't even know her name!

But he knew her favorite color was purple despite always wearing pink. She liked wearing skirts and dresses. She liked her coffee sweet and with a lot of whipped cream. She liked to draw cartoon characters and she liked to write so fast until her hand started cramping. She would get this wrinkle between her eyebrows when she was concentrated on something. He knew she would laugh at anything sarcastic he would say, even if it was a stupid jab at her. She graduated university and was an English teacher and would teach little kids and adults in the afternoon and evening times... He knew she loved mornings.

He may not know her name but he knew things about her. Things he learned in just talking and seeing her for two weeks.

But did this justify him worrying about her? How can he be worried about someone he doesn't know well? Who he doesn't even know their name?

But Yoongi missed her presence at the cafe. He missed her over enthusiastic good mornings, her stupid laugh and her stupid smile... he missed her random ramblings on stupid things that he honestly couldn't care about or even know anything about. Yoongi was not a morning person, he hated mornings with a passion... but she made mornings bearable for him. He looked forward to going to get coffee every morning instead of making it at home like he usually did. He was out of coffee that morning and didn't feel like going to the store, so he decided to get a quick fix from a stupid, local cafe...then soon found himself coming every morning since that first morning.

She was so enthusiastic and happy that it leaked onto him and the coffee was good too so he decided to come back...and soon he found himself coming again...and again...and soon it wasn't about the coffee anymore. It was about seeing her. She treated him like any other person. He wasn't an idol in this coffee shop. He wasn't Suga of BTS here. He was just Min Yoongi. Sure, he was positive she didn't know who he was, but the fact still is: He felt like a normal person here. This was his safe haven. His escape outside of BTS to just be Yoongi around someone. He missed that.

"Sir." He looked up and saw that it was his turn to order.

"Sorry...uh I'll have a large iced coffee...and with some hazelnut and whipped cream please." He asked and the barista nodded her head. He paid and waited at the end of the bar for his drink. He looked towards the door, in hopes she would walk through. Once his drink was done, Yoongi sighed and took one last look around. He was going to savor this cup of coffee....it was going to be his last from here.

He passed her table and stopped. No. It wasn't going to be his last here... he had a thought. A crazy thought but... He turned around and walked to the counter and the barista looked at him.

"Sir? Is something wrong with your drink?"

"Uh no... it's fine." He answered and the barista gave him a weird look. "Sorry but, do you know that girl? The one that used to order after me for two weeks? She sat at the table by the door every morning?"

"Uhm no-" She answered and his shoulders slumped.

"You mean Jae?" A girl that was cleaning the counter asked, having listened to the conversation. "She always wears pink converse right?" and Yoongi nodded.

"Yeah her. Do you know her?"

"Kind of, she's here every day, has been a regular for six months now." She shrugged her shoulders.

"Do you know where she is?" He asked. "I just...haven't seen her this week. She's always here..."

"Ah, no I don't know where she is..." The girl answered and Yoongi sighed. "But this happens sometimes. She'll disappear for a week or two but she'll be back. She always comes back. Her family member might be sick or something? I don't really know much about it but she helps her family out a lot. But don't worry, she'll be back soon. Just hang in there." She explained with a smile and Yoongi bowed in thanks.

"Thank you." he replied as he walked out of the cafe. Taking a deep breath, he felt as if a weight had been lifted from his chest. He could breathe again.
