Point Pleasant, West Virginia in 1964-65 sightings of what some described as a large bird with red eyes and others calling it a man sized bird were common until the day of December 15, 1965 the day the Silver Bridge collapse the disaster claimed 48 lives, many claimed to have spotted the Moth Man on or over the bridge moments before the collapse. Could he have been the reason for the collapse or could he have been trying to warn everyone on the bridge of the disaster to come.
