Nightmares (Loki x Reader)

Sorry this is so short

I felt a slight shift in the mattress beneath and there was Loki,sitting on the edge of my bed. "I heard you crying." I tried to wipe my tears before he noticed,but he immediately grabbed my wrist to stop me. Then he pulled my hand upward and planted a gentle kiss on it. He then released my wrist to wipe away the tear streaks on my face. I looked down.

"Nightmares," he looked up,"I've always had them,and there's a variety but it always comes back to just one." He reaches up for my face,but I turn my head away. He grabs my chin and turns it toward him,"Darling,I'm so sorry."

I push my face forward,and our lips crash together with such love hidden behind them that it makes me pull away,out of breath. "I-I'm so so sorry. I shouldn't have done that. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I-" Suddenly my sentence was cut off by soft lips pressed against mine. The contact is strange,cold yet warm,unfamiliar to me.

Loki pulls away all too soon and gently pulls me to lay down,facing him. He fell back,next to me,and I placed my head on his chest. He gently strokes my hair as I listen to the sound of his steady heartbeat. I slowly drift off to sleep,not waking up the rest of the night,sleeping peacefully.

I wake up and am met by Loki's beautiful blue eyes. His hand was once again running through my hair. "Thank you." He smiled at me. As he opened his mouth to answer,in came Tony smiling,calling the other Avengers to come look. Loki got up,closed the door,locked it,then layed down once again. "Do we have to get up yet?" Loki said with a slightly pouty voice. "Of course not." With that we snuggled closely together.
