Hurt (Steve x Reader)

Steve had gone on a mission that was supposed to be a week long. It was the sixth day,and I really missed him. We were together so much,it felt weird to be apart. I was snuggled in a blanket,watching Steve's favorite movie. It was his favorite part,which made me started crying.

A few seconds of this,then I felt someone sit next to me. "Hey darling,I missed you." It was him. "Steve,you're back. I missed you too." I turned,and he pulled me in for a long kiss. When he pulled away,he studied my face.

"You were crying. Are you okay?" I nodded my head rapidly. "I am now." He pulled me into a hug and kissed my jaw lightly. "I don't like when you're gone for so long." "And I don't like being gone. Is this-" "Yeah it is. Do you want to watch it?" "Yes,I need to shower first though."

When he got up,I saw he was hurt pretty badly with bruises everywhere and a burn through his suit so bad his skin was black. I decided to make him some soup and get an ice pack. I restarted the movie and got everything ready,including medicine for his injuries. As he was coming back,he stopped.

"You didn't have to." "But I want to so come here please. I need to put some ointment on that." He sat down with his lit up eyes,smiling lovingly. He took off his shirt,so I could reach the burn on his side. I got some of the burn cream and began to rub it in. He flinched back instantly. "Do you want to hold my hand,love?" He nodded slowly,so I gave him my other hand and continued quickly.

"Here's an ice pack for whatever hurts the worst. I'm going to bandage your side okay?" "Alright." I carefully wrapped his side while he put the ice pack against his eye,occasionally switching it to other hurt areas. "Thank you." "Anything for you." He grabbed my face and kissed me. "You should lay down." He layed back,pulling me as well. "I love you,Steve." "I love you more."
