THEA'S POV.

"Is this the least revealing thing you have?" Clary asked as she looked at herself in the mirror after Izzy had given her something new to wear.

"What? All the naughty bits are covered, a little too much in my opinion." Izzy stated and I giggle.

"Where's Simon?" Clary asked.

"Who?" I questioned, teasing her,"Kidding. He's in good hands with the boys." I say as Izzy came to sit on her bed with me.

"So, um, you two, Alec and Jace are what? Like family?" Clary asked.

"Translation, you want to know if either of us have a thing with Jace." Isabelle stated.

"Why would I care?" Clary asked, trying to cover it up.

"Because you do." I replied with a smirk.

"But don't worry, in every way Jace is like a brother to me, my parents took him in when he was 10 and they took Thea in when she was 12." Izzy explained and Clary looked at me.

"What about you? Are you and Jace..." She asked and I laughed.

"Oh, by the angel, NO. He is literally a brother to me and Alec would kill him." I said.

"Why would Alec care?" She asked, confused.

"If you haven't noticed yet, Alec and I have been dating for the past 2 years." I explained with a smile on my face.

"Wow, that long?" Clary asked with wide eyes and I nod,"But how is that possible? You're so sweet and nice and he's so rude and cold hearted."

"Well thank you for the complement on saying those nice things about me, but please don't talk rudely about my boyfriend and we won't have any consequences, Ok?" I warned her in a calm tone, not wanting  her on my bad side.

"Um, Ok, but how can a relationship last that long if you guys are so different?" Clary asked.

"We liked each other, but didn't tell each other. It felt like magic drew us closer." I explained with a blush.

"I think it was just a little more magic." Izzy said with a smirk on her face but it faded when I sent her a glare.

"What is that suppose to mean." Clary asked with confusion. Damn it Isabelle...

"Come on, Thea, she has to find out sooner or later." Izzy said and I then sighed in defeat. She is right.

"Ok, fine, but Clary, what I'm about to tell you is something that you have to keep a secret from everyone." I said.

"Ok." Clary said with a nod.

"OK, here it goes... When I was 8 my family was killed by circle members. They wanted me because I'm half witch, but luckily they think I'm dead. I spent 4 years alone until Izzy's family took me in. I didn't tell anyone, because I was scared." I said with sadly.

"Well you shouldn't, because you have us." Clary said, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks, I really appreciate that." I said with a smile.

"Well let's go meet up with the boys." Izzy said. We nodded and headed towards the door before she stopped us,"Oh, and Simon's kind of nerd hot." She said and walked out of the room with a socked Clary and a laughing me.

Izzy open the weapons stash, showing seraph blades, knives and other blades. She smiled as she traced one of the swords.
