I was sitting on my bed, reading a book before my door flew open revealing my parabatai, Isabelle Lightwood. Yes, Izzy is my parabatai and she somehow found out that I'm half witch and she was really calm when she found out.
"What's up, parabatai!" She said, jumping on my bed.
"Hi, Iz. What's up?" I asked, taking my eyes off my book to look at her.
"Nothing much, you?" Izzy asked and I shook my head.
We layed there for a while, talking about stuff that came to our minds, but I felt like Izzy was hiding something from me.
"Ok, what is it?" I asked, looking at her.
"What is what?" Izzy asked.
"I know you're keeping something from me, so spill." I said, sitting up straight.
"Oh, alright," she said with a sigh,"I know you have a crush on my brother."
That just shocked me and my eyes widened."What?" I asked.
"I know you like Alec since the moment you layed eyes him and it's obvious that he likes you too." She said with a grin on her face.
"I don't like Alec, Isabelle. It's crazy to have a crush on your best friend." I said with a scoff. I don't like Alec. Do I?
"Ok. If you say so..", Izzy said and got off my bed,"Just think about it. Love ya!" She said and walked out of my room, closing the door.
No! There's no way that I have a crush on Alec! But maybe....
ALEC'SPOV.
Jace and I were runing our weapons while we were talking about nonsense that came to our minds.
"So..." Jace said while looking at me.
"What?" I asked curiously.
"When are you gonna tell her?" He asked, smirking.
"Tell who?" I asked.
"Thea, you idiot!" Jace said, throwing his hands up in the air,"Tell her that you have feelings for her and that you want to be more than best friends?"
Yes, Jace knows that I have a huge crush on Thea. I mean come on have you seen her? I always wished to tell her how I feel, but unfortunately I don't have the courage.
"Jace, you know I can't tell her. I don't want to ruin what we have now." I said, looking down at the floor.
"You know...she has the same affection for you, right?" Jace said and my head shot up with wide eyes.
"Where did you hear that?" I asked.
"From her parabatai." He said and I looked at him, narrowing my eyes.
"And you believe Isabelle?" I asked. I mean, sometimes my sister would tell somebody anything so they believe it, but it can sometimes be true and I doubt that this was true.
"Why not? Just tell her or I will." Jace said, smirking.
"You wouldn't dear." I said in a stern tone.
"Try me, parabatai." He said before walking away and left me with my arrows.
I took a deep sigh and placed my head in my hands. Maybe I should just tell her.
