ADAM POV:

I glared as the UPS guy walked out the door with a stupid smile on his face. I turned and looked around the office. Making myself comfy on a couch.

It had floor to ceiling windows on one side, over looking a nice view of the Santa Monica pier. You could see all the rides, shops, and people perfectly. The sun hit the ocean, making it a deep blue from this far away. Vince had his L-shaped desk in the middle of the back of the room, it was neatly organized with paper holders and his sleek laptop. He sat behind it in a large black roller chair.

Diagonal to that were two black comfy, but businessy chairs facing the view. Along with a long, dark blue office couch, were I sat, against the wall, facing his desk. There were also a few green hanging plants from the ceiling that were hanging a few feet. But I think mine, and Mimi's,favorite part of the office was the hammock that was kiddy cornered in the room, behind his desk. Right near the ocean view window.

She was occupying it currently, playing on her phone with one headphone in her ear opposite to us. Her hair was tucked behind her left ear, pulling all of the slightly messy, thick, deep brown hair to one side. A bored expression played on her face, her lip bottom tucked in as she stuck her tongue ever so slightly outside the side of her mouth. She bit down on it lightly, her eyebrows furrowing. She mumbled a curse word to her phone.

"Language." Vince mumbled, without looking up from his laptop.

The same expression played on his face, I swear they are related.

"You know that rule only applies around clients." She pointedly told him.

"It upsets my plants."

I half laughed at that.

"Your face upsets them." She stuck her tongue out at him.

"And you wonder why I treat you like a child." He groaned.

That was about the only thing that happened while we all sat there in comfortable silence. I took out my phone and went on Instagram. I smiled at the picture she sent me from last week, on the plane. Hard to believe it was only a week ago. I clicked the camera button and snuck a picture of her. I looked at it. She was perfect without trying, damn it.

Lying on her side, her tanned exposed legs were pulled up towards her chest, her plump lips parted, hair flowing past one side of her face as she looked out the window. The sun hitting the side of her face just right to make it look like a professional picture.

Her ass and boobs looked great too if you were wondering.

I put on a black and white filter to set it off and uploaded it with the caption "No caption needed. (Yes, I know this is a caption)". And made sure to set the photo as my wallpaper. Not that I'd ever give her the satisfaction of seeing it. I went against tagging her since she never seemed to check Instagram anyway, she probably had her notifications disabled like I do.

Vince jumped as she let out a loud, long, well thought out string of curse words. I had to hold back a laugh, he looked like he about had a heart attack. He stared at her with wide eyes, his hand dramatically over his chest.

"What in God's name did you do that for! You scared the shit out of me." He half yelled at her.

"Hey! Cussing upsets the plants." She shook her finger at him.

He gave her and 'are you serious' look.

"I have a great reason! I was playing this game, Song pop, and I totally knew the song but my hand.. touched the... wrong, one." She finished quietly.

We both then gave her an 'are you serious look'.

She threw her hands up and looked at me. "Shut up you! Mr.Candy Crush. That's the worst. Do you know how sick of those requests I am?"

Vince laughed. "YOU play Candy Crush?"

"Oh be quiet, it's like cocaine." I mumbled, crossing my arms.

Vince shut his laptop, "C'mon children. Let's go keep your small minds occupied."

Soon we were on the pier, Vince handed us two wrist bands that he insisted on getting us, and shoved us in the direction of the rides. Lucky for us it was practically empty, excluding a few older couples, on the pier due to school being in.

"OHMYLANTA! They have a fun house!" She pointed, running away from me.

I managed to catch up to her, she was outside the fun house, trying to put the wristband on her wrist. She looked up at the ticket taker of the ride.

"Can you put this on?" She asked him.

He gave her a smirk, "I can help you with a lot more than that."

She flipped him off, "Not in your life, American pig."

She continued to struggle with it, after I successfully put mine on, I asked her if she wanted help. She got mad and turned her body away from me. I laughed and waited a good five minutes before grabbing her wrist and forcefully putting it on.

"I could have done it just fine." She pouted her bottom lip out.

Consciously? I don't know. I wanted to bite it either way.

We walked passed the creep, he winked at her as she walked by and she shoved him. His balance wavered as he held onto the horizontal pole his legs were leaning against. I saw him check out her ass as she walked by, I gave the guy my own shove, pushing him over the edge completely. It was my turn to smirk. That'll teach him to disrespect her like that.
