"What's wrong with your sweatshirt?" Mabel asked Quinn about an hour later.

She looked at her gray sweatshirt. "I don't see anything wrong with it..."

"Exactly!" Mabel said loudly. "It has no color, no energy!" She went inside her closet.

"Sweaters have energy?" She smiled. "What?"

Mabel walked out of her closet, holding something in her arms. "Take that disgrace of a sweater off." She ordered. She did, revealing a red T-shirt. "Now put this on." So she did. "Oh my gosh, you look absolutely perfect!"

Quinn looked and her eyes were wide. It was a neon orange one with a mermaid on the chest. It was very... Mabel. "It's something." She said finally.

Dipper walked into the room and when he saw Quinn, he laughed. Hard. She gave him a dirty look and he slowly stopped. "Looks great, Quinn."

She continued with the dirty look. "That's exactly what I think, Dipper. Thank you." He nodded in response. "It's cute, Mabel. But I think it's more you than me. But if it bothers you so much, I won't wear my sweater anymore." She took it off, handed it to Mabel and wrapped hers around her waist.

"So, Dip." Mabel said. "What did Stan say about Quinn?"

Dipper replied with, "He said he has no problem with it, but she's gonna have to work at the Shack."

"Cool, I can do that." Quinn nodded. "I can so do that."

He nodded. "Great. And no, I didn't mention that we're a- y'know."

She nodded in approval. "Good idea." She smiled, causing him to get more butterflies.

"Hey, um Quinn," He said, trying to figure out what to say. "Want me to give you a tour around the town?"

She thought about it. "Sure, that'd be fun."

Mabel grinned from ear to ear. "While you guys do that, I'm gonna Candy and Grenda and ask if they want to come over, they'd love you."

                                       ........................

"So," he said when they walked out the door and on a path. "What's Seattle like?"

"It's absolutely wonderful," she said, smiling to herself. "There are so many different types of people and the streets are always busy and it's never quiet."

"Sounds horrible."

"It may seem like it, but I promise. It's so beautiful and diverse and great." They continued walking before anyone said anything.

"What about your family?" He asked.

She shrugged. "Not much to talk about there, I have no siblings. Dad is editor of some fashion magazine and is gone all the time while Mom is a model and is gone a lot too."

"So, they let you at home alone for long periods of time?" He asked, shocked.

"Yeah, basically." She stepped on a log and walked on it while he continued walking on the path. "Actually now, Dad's gone for another month and  mom another three weeks. It's cool, I guess. Sometimes they bring me some souvenirs and pictures. But it's not the same as having a special family bond, I suppose." She jumped off the log and smirked. "But it's not really bad. My parents are kind of snotty, and I can't stand it."

"How are they snotty?"

She shrugged. "They know they have a lot of money and they're not afraid of letting other people know. They have to go to the fanciest restaurants, wear the most expensive clothes, hire the best personal assistants. They act like everything is so perfect but everyone my age doesn't even look at me or they think I'm just like my parents. Except Kellie, who I'm kinda mad at at the moment. But I still love and respect them, no matter how annoyed they make me."

He was surprised. "Wow, Quinn. I'm sorry. That must suck."

"It's not your fault. It's fine, anyway."

"But if it makes you feel any better, I don't think you're just like your parents. You actually seem quite modest."

She blushed. "Thanks."

They found themselves in town and he gave a small tour of all the small businesses and whatnot. It was actually quite embarrassing because it really took only twenty minutes for the entire tour. "Wow," she said when they were finished. "This town's tinier than I thought it would be."

"Yep, but it really is great."

She grinned. "Oh, I'd never doubt that."
