Hey guys! After about a month of absolute nothing, I found inspiration to write a few more chapters. I probably wouldn't of written this if it wasn't for my good friend WeirdIsAGoodThing. Thanks for the ideas, Jackie!

The girls looked at each other in complete awe. "Oh wow," Mabel marveled. "This is awesome. Wait until Dipper finds out about this!"

Quinn immediately shook her head. "No, he can't."

   "Why not?"

"It doesn't matter," she grabbed her friend's shoulders and faced her. "Dipper just can't know about this yet. We don't know what it is." Lie
   "But-"

"Mabel," she looked her dead in the eyes. "Promise you won't tell Dipper about this machine."

    "Why?"

There was a pause. "You will find out soon enough. I promise." And with that, Mabel reluctantly nodded, her fingers crossed behind the back of her orange sweater.

Dipper ran through the door, only to see Quinn and his sister sitting on the couch watching Ducktective. "Mabel, Quinn?" He asked, shocked.

The girls looked at him and smiled. "Oh, hey Dipper," Quinn greeted warmly.

"Uh, hey." He cocked an eyebrow. "Are you guys okay?"

"Of course, bro," Mabel said, grinning. "It's not like we found a secret passageway in the Shack or whatever." Quinn quickly elbowed her arm to shut her up. "Where were you? You were gone for nearly an hour." She asked, rubbing her aching arm.

"I was just," he grew embarrassed. "I was out. Tried finding the other journal." He noticed the two girls looking at each other weirdly. "What's with the weird faces?"

They shrugged. "Nothing," they both said in unison.

That night, while they were getting ready for bed, Mabel couldn't help herself anymore. "There's a secret passageway in the Shack." She blurted.

"Mabel," He started, putting on his pajama shirt. "What on earth are you talking about?"

Mabel couldn't stop. "Quinn and I went looking for Waddles and we found this soda machine that ended up being a door and we walked down the stairs and Quinn discovered this huge machine and didn't want me to tell you about it."

He didn't know whether to believe her or not. "Why would she do that?" He asked.

"She didn't tell me, she told me I'd find out in time." She shrugged. "I don't know what the check that's supposed to mean."

Dipper looked down in thought. I wouldn't be too surprised if Quinn actually knew what the machine is, he thought to himself. She is a pretty smart girl. He then remembered his confrontation with Gideon earlier and shuddered. Hopefully it's not as bad as he made it out to be...
