When she came to, she was laying down on a purple couch. She groaned again as she sat up, looking around. She noticed another chair, a TV, and a good sized window. It took her a few minutes to realize she was in the Pines' living room. She suddenly felt something on her ankle. She looked down to find a small pig nudging at her leg with his cute little snout. A smile snuck on her face as she stroked behind the ears. "Hey, there Waddles. You're a lot cuter than other pigs I've seen at the fair."
He oinked his response.
"Waddles! Shh! You don't want to wake up the girl!" She heard Mabel's voice as she walked in the room. "Oh, you are awake. Hi." She said.
She sat up and shrugged,"Yep, I am. Hi."
Mabel smiled. "Hey Dipper! The girl's awake." Dipper came in very quickly after that, bottle of water in his hand. She immediately grinned , remembering how he caught her when she fell. When she was crazy.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked, concerned. "You kinda fainted earlier-?"
She nodded. "Yeah, my head just hurts a lot. Sorry about that."
"It's okay, really." Dipper reassured her.
"Hey, pretty stranger. What were you saying about us being real earlier?" Mabel asked. Dipper opened his mouth to say something but quickly shut it and looked at her too. He was confused by that comment, also. She made a quick pro's and con's list in her head to decide whether to tell them or not.
She decided not to. "Can I tell you after my head stops throbbing?" She asked, holding her head.
"Of course," he answered. He handed her the water bottle and she slowly took a sip out of it. She noticed a small bandage on her left wrist. The wrist she fell on when she was in her bedroom. "Yeah, it looked swollen so I put some medicine on it and wrapped it up." He said, twiddling his thumbs.
"Thank you," she said, looking up at him. "That's very sweet of you." He shrugged.
"Where do you live?" Mabel asked.
She didn't know what to say to her. "Not here, that's for sure. Not even close."
They looked confused. "Then where?"
She decided to tell the truth. "Seattle."
They looked at her like they misheard her. "Did you say Seattle? Like Washington?" Dipper asked. She nodded. "Then how did you end up in the woods in Oregon?"
She sighed, knowing she couldn't hide it from them and told them about how in reality, they were a show that she loved and about the leaked episode scam and Bill.
Both pairs of eyes were opened wide by the time she finished. "Oh." Dipper finally (and awkwardly). "So, Bill must've transported you here, but why?"
She shrugged. "I have no clue. I don't even know how to get home, which really sucks."
Dipper nodded slowly. Mabel looked down for a second, then smiled. "Don't worry! You can stay with us until we figure out how to get you back home!"
Quinn's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? You wouldn't mind?"
"Of course not! Where else would you go, anyway?" Quinn thought about it. "We could so do that, right Dipper?"
Dipper sighed and thought, too. "Well, some things would have to be worked out, especially with Stan, but besides that, I don't really see why she couldn't-."
"GREAT!" Mabel squealed in delight. "I'll go set up the spare room!!" With that, she ran up the stairs, leaving them behind. Dipper chuckled before looking at Quinn, who just continued petting Waddles.
"So, we're a show, huh? Th-that's kinda a lot to take in."
She smirked. "Yep, kinda."
Silence. "Have we won any awards?"
She laughed. "How would I know that?"
"I don't know," he admitted, starting to laugh himself. "Oh, I never asked your name."
"It's Quinn. Quinn Mitchell."
He smiled. "Nice name, it's easy to remember. I'm-"
"Dipper Pines." She interrupted. "Also easy to remember."
"Yeah, r-right. Of c-course," Dipper stuttered, his face slowly turning red.
She didn't notice, though.
