Alex
We stood there in stunned silence. It made sense considering they adopted Jake. Ace filled us in on things, and it was so much to understand.
"Alex, I didn't tell you this to overwhelm you, but I am looking for Frank," Ace said as Erik and I looked at each other.
"What do you want with Frank?" Erik asked Ace.
"He has something, and I want it back. Simple." Ace shrugged.
"Like something precious?" I asked him.
"You could say that. Do you have any idea where Frank might be?" Ace questioned.
"With Frank, you can never tell. I know he has connections in Michigan, California, and here but who knows where he's hiding," I shrugged.
"I think I will check out those leads. Thank you." He smiled at me as he said goodbye to Jacob and us. I walked him to the door and closed it, locking it behind him.
"Is it me, or are things getting more confusing?" Erik asked me.
"No, I'm pretty confused myself," I said to Erik.
Ace left my apartment and walked downstairs. He walked over to a car and got in. "Well," Chase asked Ace.
"She knows nothing. That's for sure, but I know for a fact that the person's here. Now it's time to get him back. I want everything you can find them when I find Frank, I will be the one to put a bullet in his head personally," Ace said to Chase.
Chase nodded and pulled out. It was time to gather the others.

They were moving me to another location. They had a bag over my head, and my mouth gagged along with my wrists and ankles bound. That had become the norm for me.
I felt a stop and heard a door open; they yanked me out and dragged me out of the vehicle we were traveling.
"Throw the guy in there. I will be back," I heard a voice say. They shoved me into a room, and I stumbled, falling to the floor. They grabbed ahold of me and yanked me up, sitting me harshly in a chair.
A few minutes later, a door opened, and someone yanked off the black hood that was covering me.
"Hello, Jake," Frank said to me. I stared at him. "I got something to show you," Frank said as he pulled out his phone. He hit play, and I watched as I saw Alex and Jacob along with the others.
"See, here's the thing. I have eyes on your wife and son. It seems she has been a very busy whore," he said, showing me pictures of her and Erik intimate. "Just goes to show you that she can move on that quickly."
I sat there, still gagged and bound.
"But that's not why I showed you this. See, I have plans. I will kill the whore and take your kid; then maybe you will comply. If you don't, then I will kill your son. It's your choice," Frank threatened.
I stared at him in horror.
"Take Jake to his room and make sure he can't get loose," Frank ordered as they yanked me up. They dragged me to a room and threw me down, removing the gag and binding before leaving, locking the door. I needed to get out of here.

Ace gathered the boys up and explained everything to them. They instructed a couple to monitor Jacob and me. The rest were going with him. It was time to retrieve the package.
As Erik and I put Jacob down, there was a knock at the door. Now what?
I walked over, looked in the peephole, and didn't see anyone, that's odd. I shrugged and went to walk away when the door busted open.
I screamed when I saw men with guns. Erik ran out only for someone to knock him out.
"Shut her up," one man ordered. They knocked me out. They picked us up and carried us out of there while someone went to get Jacob. The only thing is Jacob turned out to be an escape artist. They searched the apartment, and he left, not wanting someone to catch them, they left.
They carried us out and placed us in a van, gagging, and binding our wrists and ankles. They got in and took off with us in the back.
Tony and Lucas were on their way up to my apartment. They saw a kid toddling around in the hallway.
"Is that Jacob?" Tony asked.
"Well, shit," Lucas said as they walked towards Jacob. Lucas picked him up. "Hey, little guy. What are you doing out here alone?" Lucas asked as Jacob looked at him.
"I'll call my dad," Tony said as he pulled out his phone, making a call to Brax. They explained about finding Jacob in the hallway alone. Brax instructed them to check the apartment. They went up to it and checked, notifying him that we weren't there. Brax told them to take Jacob somewhere safe.
He hung up with Tony and looked at Ace. "Well," Ace asked.
"They got the girl and the guy. Tony and Lucas found Jacob. They're taking him somewhere safe," Brax explained.
"It looks like things got complicated," Chase said to Ace.
"No, things took a turn. There is no complication about it. Frank's a dead man," Ace growled.
Ryan and Grace were walking into the building when they saw Tony and Lucas with Jacob.
"Who are you, and why do you have Jacob?" Ryan questioned them.
"A friend of his mother's and they took her," Tony said.
"Taken? What do you mean taken?" Grace asked. "Before you answer that, come here, Jacob." She held out her hands, and Jacob reached for her. She took him from Tony.
"Look, lady, I got strict orders to take him somewhere safe," Tony groaned.
"Over my dead body, you will," she shot back.
Tony and Lucas lifted their shirts to reveal their sidearms.
"Well, okay," Grace said, handing Jacob back to Tony. He took Jacob, and they walked away from Grace and Ryan.
"Now what?" Grace asked.
"We follow them." Ryan shrugged. She shrugged as they turned around and followed them only to have Matt and Ashley meet them.
"Why do two men have Jacob?" Matt asked them.
"Because Alex and Erik got themselves kidnapped," Grace said emphatically.
"Has it dawned on anyone that we haven't even started school yet?" Matt asked them.
"Who cares? We need to rescue her," Grace said, walking away from the others.
"Great, I wanted to die before I graduated college," Matt sighed.
"Come on," Ryan motioned then as they followed behind her.
It looks like things would get worse before they got better.
