Side Kick? No, Partner (Peter Parker x Reader)

Prologue

You got up from bed and stretched your arms and legs. Your shoulder cracked and you kept your muscles tense for a few second later before getting up and cracking your back and knuckles. You let out a yawn and rubbed the sleep out of your eyes before getting in the shower and changing into your regular once done. You left to the kitchen and knuckle bumbed Thor along the way there. Steve Rogers turned to you once you entered the kitchen. He gave a warm smile to you while he was cooking breakfast. "Good morning (Y/n). Slept well I assume?" he asked as he turned back to your food. You hopped onto one of the bar stools by the island in the kitchen.

"Definitely. Everyone else awake besides us two and Thor?" You asked leaning on your hand while your elbow rested on the counter.

"Yeah everyone is just about awake. Tony is a little annoyed that you slept in." Steve informed as he placed a plate of eggs, bacon and pancakes. You rolled your eyes.

"Tony can deal with it." You muttered to him only to let Steve chuckle at your comment. Before he could reply, Tony entered the same room as you and Steve.

"Stuff your face and head to the meeting room. We have something to discuss as a team." he said. And just as suddenly as he arrived, he left just as soon. You glanced at Steve as if he would know but he only shrugged. You shrugged as well and quickly finished your breakfast and entered the conference room. You sat down next to Natasha while Bruce sat on the other side of her. Everyone's attention moved to Tony once he entered the room.

"First things first. T'challa needs out help with something. Secondly I'm thinking of enrolling (Y/n) to Midtown High School in Queens New York." he stated. You forrowed your eyebrows as you looked at Tony.

"Why the hell would I need to go to a high school? Tony, with all due respect. The place where I originally came from gave me so much more knowledge. The kids would hate me because of that." You pointed out.

"That's the point. Plus your not going there for actual schooling. I need you to keep a close eye on a kid by the name of Peter Parker." Tony requested as he crossed his arms. A hologram popped up and a picture of Peter showed up. He had chestnut brown hair that was in curls or waves. His euesea chocolate brown and he wore a flannel underneath a blue sweater.

"So you want me to stalk an ordinary kid? Tony if you wanted to stalk a kid you could ha-"

"He's not an ordenary kid. This kid is spiderman. He claims he helps out smaller people and that he's quote un quote 'your friendly neighborhood spiderman.' I need you to stalk him for a bit but while you do that I'm going to give you fake with cameras hidden within them so they can film whatever you see. I will be watching him through your eyes and determining if he's as good as some people give credit for." he explained.

"Couldn't have you sent your own robot or something?" You asked.

"He would have suspected it and then fanboyed about it if he knew it was one of my robots." he replied as he took a sip of coffee. You let out a groan.

"Alright fine... When do I start?" You asked.

"Monday. Right now we need to travel Wakanda and see what's going on there. Everyone suit up and lets get going." and with that everyone rushed off to get ready. You on the other hand just had to snap your fingers and you changed into your outfit. Tony shook his head. "Show off." he muttered. You raised a brow

"Says the one who's suit comes to you pieces at a time. I think that's better then having your suit poof out of no where." You replied. Tony just chuckled and told you to come with him to get going to Wakanda.

You and the Avengers have finally made it to Wakanda and T'challa was already waiting for your arrival. Once the jet landed, T'challa gave one of his signature salutes and you did the same thing back. He gave a warm smile. "Welcome, Avengers. Come. I will show you what the problem is." he said as he turned and lead the way. Tony and Steve talked with him while you were behind everyone with Natasha. She turned to you and watched you as you were blanked out.
