Chapter 6

The next day rolled in and you really didn't want to be around Tony. Especially after your fight yesterday. You changed out of your pajamas and into one of your many favorite and you figured you would visit Stephen. You opened up a portal to where you last remember seeing him before moving into the HQ. You stepped through and smiled as nostalgia hit you as you remembered every detail of this place. "Stephen? Are you here?" You called out. You were suddenly in a different room but Stephen was there. "Long time no see. How have you been?" You asked. He paused from looking at his book and he looked at you with shock in his eyes.

"(y/n)?! Dear lord it's been years!" he exclaimed as he pulled you into a hug. You giggled and hugged him back.

"I know! I can't believe it's been so long! I didn't realize that being an avenger makes you incredibly busy." You stated as you pulled away from him.

"I guess so. So how is everything going? You usually don't visit me."

"I've been good. Got into a small fight with Tony all because I saved some kids ass." You frowned.

"Typical." he chuckled.

After you had caught up with Stephen, you headed out to the coffee shop to have some lunch and tea. It was a very relaxing time. You scrolled through your phone and didn't realize that someone had sat across from you until they scooted the chair and it made a squeak. You glanced up and smiled when you saw Peter. "Oh hey. Didn't expect to see you today. What's up?" You asked nicely as you put your phone down. Now all of your attention was on the adorable dork in front of you.

"I just came here for some food. I'm also planning a movie night if you... Want to come with." he nervously invited you. You haven't seen a new movie or any other movie in a while so you accepted. Peter couldn't help but smile at your response and ended up joining you for lunch.

"What movies will we be watching?" You asked just so you could be prepared.

"A few action movies and horror. Maybe some sci-fi." he replied as he took a sip of coffee.

"Oh sounds good. What time and where are we all meeting up?" You asked.

"Whenever we're done is fine. Ned said he will be over whenever I was done with lunch. Also what happened to your glasses?" he asked. You paled a little but quickly came up with an explaination

"Oh I'm wearing contacts today and left my glasses at home." You had finally replied. He gave a nod in return.

"Ah okay. You have really pretty eyes by the way." he complimented causing you to blush a little bit.

"Oh! T-thanks..." You muttered sheepishly.

You looked at the address you saved on your phone and the address that was on the house. You shrugged and knocked on the door and just hoped that this was Peters house. A woman answered the door and you immediately grew nervous.

"Hello! You must be Peter's New friend (y/n) right?" she asked. A wave of relief washed over you and you nodded.

"Yep! That's me. It's wonderful to meet you Mrs. Parker." You said politely. She frowned a little.

"Oh honey I'm not his mother. I'm his aunt." she replied. Your heart sank to your stomach.

"Oh I'm sorry-"

"It's alright dear. It's a common mistake dear. But do come in. peter should be in his room."

"Alright, thank you ma'am." You ventured off to try and find Peters room and out of sheer luck, you ended up finding his room. You knocked on the door and heard things stumble around for a moment.

"O-one second!" he called out. You waited for a minute or two before he opened the door. He gave a smile when he saw you. "Oh hey! You actually showed up!" he exclaimed happily. You let out a chuckle.

"What? You thought I wouldn't?" You asked. "I don't have anything to do, I did all my home work during class yesterday and I don't have any hobbies or whatever so of course I would show up."

"Well I'm honored." he said letting you in his room. You sat down on the bed and Ned showed up as well and you all gathered with fresh popcorn and sat in front of the TV as the IT 2017 remake played. So fat you thought it was really good and Pennywise was genuinely creepy and creeped you out greatly. The movie was over and it was definitely going to be one of your favorite movies that was recent. Peter popped in the next movie but before it could continue any further, you received a call from Tony.

"Shit... Hold on I gotta take this." You say leaving the room for a moment. You picked up the phone prepared for whatever he has to say.

"Where the hell are you?" he asked sounding irritated.

"I'm at Peters house. He invited me over for a movie night." You replied.

"It's getting really late. I need you to come home. Now."

"You know what. How about you mind your damn business, I stay here and I remind you that I'm Seventeen... SEVENTEEN!" You raised your voice getting angry at Tony yet again. Peter entered the room silently and you had your back to him.

"Your safety is my business. Now your going to listen to me or I'm going to send someone to get you. Do you understand?"

"Oh fuck off! I can handle myself and I'm sleeping over and I don't care what you think. It's sure as shit safer if I stay here then walk home in the dark. Have some common fucking sense!" before he could reply, you hung up the phone and ran a hand through your hand and let out a tired sigh.

"Is... Everything okay?" Peters voice made you flinch. You refused to turn around to face him so you nodded quiwtly. Peter frowned and he approached you while placing an arm around you. "Are you sure your okay? I don't want to see you upset or hurt in anyway." he said as the two of you made eye contact. Your eyes getting glassy and your heart throbbed because no one who has been your age as ever been so gentle and caring towards you. "Come here..." he said softly before pulling you into a hug. You immediately latched on and shoved your face into his chest. He rubbed your back softly while you let tears slip down his cheeks.

"I'm so tired of being treated like a baby... I was trained to fight and learn self-defense... I don't understand..." You muttered as you held Peter tighter.
