"Word says that he's heading to Titan... Anyone have any plans before we face him?" I asked as I nibbled my thumb nail anxiously while we were flying to the planet. Silence filled the ship before Quill smirked and let Rocket fly the ship for the moment as he turned the chair to face everyone else on the ship.
"I have a plan..." He said as he stood up. You rolled your eyes.
"It better not be something stupid, Quill." Tony shot as he stepped in front of Quill to intimidate him. Quill stared him directly in the eyes clearly not backing down from Tony even though he was actually quite intimidating with his suit. Peter stood up and wrapped his arms around you from behind to try and calm you down. Other wise, you would chew all your nails off. You turned your head to him and gave him a loving smile.
"Try to relax for now..." He whispered softly into your ear. Tony and Quill still seeming to have an argument and Peter held you a little tighter.
"Alright! Enough of this petty childish act. Quill... We will try your plan. Though when we get there, I'm going to look through and see how successful we are in this but there is no promise that we will be successful 100%." Stephen finally spoke out to break the feud. Quill stared at him for a moment while Tony just glared. Quill turned around and went back to flying the ship while Tony walked off to do his own thing. You sighed and snuggled into Peters chest after you turned around in his arms he rubbed your back gently and rested his head on top of yours.
"Thank you, Pete..." You muttered softly as you traced patterns on his suit. He raised a hand to your cheek and caressed it softly with his thumb.
"For what?" He asked in an almost whisper.
"For comforting me... I know the both of us are super anxious about this whole thing and yet... Here you are being the wonderful and sweet person I fell in love with..." You said and finally looked into his eyes while gripping his wrist gently. "I seriously admire you so, so much, Peter... Your able to keep your cool even if we are at a very high risk of dying. and yet here I am, a nervous mess but along with everyone because I chose to help..." You added as you teared up a bit. Peter took off his mask and had a worried and puppy dog like expression on his face.
"(Y/n)... I-i know we are in a serious situation... I get it... I'm terrified too, but I'm willing to risk my life if it means saving people and so help me. I will protect you with all my life. You have my word." He said seriously as he hugged you tightly and stroked your hair. You hugged him back just as tight as if he would disappear at any moment.
"Just... Promise me you won't die on me... I-i can't loose another loved one. I just can't..." You whimpered as you nuzzled his shoulder.
"I understand..." He whispered softly as he kissed the top of your head. The two of you swaying side to side slowly.
~~~Time skip~~~
All of you have finally arrived at Titan and hid the ship somewhere so Thanos wouldn't notice when he arrived. Everyone glanced around and seemed to be lost in their trains of thoughts. Stephen sat off to the side and seemed to twitch violently as he used the time amulet to figure out the possibilities of the end of all of this. Tony and quill seemed to be talking while Mantis and Drax talked about whatever. Peter wrapped an arm around you. His mask now left on. "Does he usually do that?" he asked referring to Stephen. You glanced at him as he seemed concentrated.
"Sometimes, yeah. Though most of the time he doesn't use that necklace unless absolutely needed." You replied as you kept your eyes on Stephen.
"Time paradox?"
"No. More like it could damage alternate dimensions. Not only that, but if he went back in time to save someone after they die, the person will come back but die from a possibly more horrible death..." Peter shuttered at that thought. Before either one of you could continue the conversation, Stephen spoke up.
"Oh no... The odds aren't good." He spoke up as his breathing was a bit quicker and he looked panicked.
"What happened?" Tony asked as he turned to him and left whatever conversation with Quill behind him.
"I found 4,645 possible outcomes to this mess..." Stephen replied with a serious expression.
"How many do we win?"
There was a long pause...
"Two..." He said nearly in a whisper. "We better get into out positions... Thanos is arriving." he warned. Your heart dropped when you heard the possible outcomes of winning but you ran off with Peter to get into position for Quill's plan. You could hear his ship arrive as Tony stood out in the open as a distraction. Tony and Thanos spoke for a while and Thanos was getting irritated.
"Go!" Someone shouted and you all went after Thanos at once. Quill threw some sort of device that grabbed his arm while Peter webbed his other arm and helped Tony pull it the other direction. Mantis sat on his shoulders while taking over his emotions to keep him still.
"Hurry! I can't keep him here for that long!" She shouted warningly. You helped Peter and Tony attempt to pull off the glove from Thanos' hand. Quill landed in front of Thanos and deactivated his helmet. He turned around and approached Thanos with an angry expression.
"Quill... Don't you dare!" You warned dangerously. He seemed to ignore your warning and proceeded to do what he wanted.
"You killed Gamora... Didn't you?" His voice dripped in venom and he clenched his fist in anger.
"I had... No... Choice..." Thanos struggled out. His eyes still glowing a silvery color and as long as he still looked like that. Everyone should be fine. Especially since the three of you were getting the glove off little by little.
"You had no choice...?" Quill asked as his expression dropped for a moment then hardened. He growled and punched Thanos hard in the stomach.
"YOU HAD NO CHOICE?! THERE IS ALWAYS MORE THAN ONE CHOICE YOU PURPLE NUT SACK!" He shouted angerly. Thanos seemed to stir a little from the trance. You growled and had to let go of the glove to shove Quill out of the way with telekinesis.
"ENOUGH!" You shot back at him. He quickly got off and shocked you with one of his devices causing you to scream and fall on the ground in pain. Peter let go and rushed over to your side. The shock finally stopped though your body shook violently as you were cradled in Peters arms. Thanos broke free and threw Mantis over his shoulders and punched Tony hard away from him as the glove slid back to its more snug position. Thanos couldn't help but laugh.
"You ate all pathetic... I will admit, each of you were close but not close enough..." he said then turned to Stephen who had his guard up. "You..." He added as he raises a finger to him.
"I know what you want..." Stephen said before Thanos could continue speaking. Thanos began to quickly approach Stephen in a menacing way.
"No..." You whispered trying to get up and rush over to him but failed to do so with your body still shaken up from being electrocuted.
"If you know what I want than give it to me." Thanos said stretching his hand forward towards Stephen who seemed hesitant at first. He opened the necklace for Thanos to take the stone with in.
