You chuckled at Peter's typical shyness and ended up approaching him and gently placing a hand on his shoulder causing him to flinch and turn to you. "Still nervous there Parker?" You asked as you removed your hand. Peter awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck.
"Uh y-yeah..." he replied sheepishly as he looked down at the ground. You smiled and crossed your arms.
"Peter Parker you can do this. Ned is on his way, I'm here and your crush is in there as well. You can do this." You encouraged. Peter nodded.
"Yeah your right. Thanks (y/n)" he replied. You gave him a nod and a pat on the back and once Ned arrived, the three of you went on in to party. Peter glanced around and so did you. You spotted the food and let Peter know where you were going and you watched him from a distance.
"Your supposed to keep very close on him." You heard Tony said through the ear piece you took.
"I am. I was just hungry." You muttered so only Tony could hear you. You grabbed your food and ice tea and made way to Peter but stopped when you noticed him talking to Liz. You waited for their conversation to end but it seemed to continue when Flash began to approach them. You immediately went over to shut down whatever Flash might say.
"So Penis Parker. Is your friend Spiderman going to show up?" he asked smugly. You raised a brow and looked at Peter. He looked at you saying he would explain later. You turned back to flash and waited for the conversation to escalate.
"uh i-i don't-" you decided to step in
"Spiderman doesn't have time for parties. Do you think a super hero would come to a stupid party when there are people getting shot, stabbed, raped, jumped and kidnapped?" you said glaring at Flash.
"She's not wrong flash." Liz replied.
"It's either that or Penis parker is a pussy and actually isn't his friend." flash shot back. You growled and Peter ran off. You shook your head and went off after Peter. Ned was else where and you would have to make sure to contact him last time. You followed Peter while also hiding in areas where he wouldn't see you. Once you were out of other people's sights, you turned yourself invisible and watched peter look at the party from the top of a building.
"He better not do something stupid." You heard Tony say. You rolled your eyes and put your glasses in the bushes.
"Tony. Let me deal with this." You whispered before taking the ear piece out and making a small portal to your room and put both glasses and ear piece in. peter turned and put his mask on and you sighed and ran after him. You snapped your fingers and got into your hero outfit. You saw a purple mist and smoke in the distance and you knew that's where he went off to. You hid within the bushes and watched what was happening. It looked like a gun deal was happening. Peter was peeking from the side of the bridge and was doing a good job up until his phone went off. You sigh and Peter was about to jump in an attack until he was launched back by some sort of device. You put up a little field thing to give Peter a soft landing and you stepped out.
"Alright people. I want a nice clean fight. Understood?" You asked. The man who punched peter went after you. You easily dodged it while peter was going after the guy that was trying to drive off. You ran past the person who attempted to hurt you and you went after Peter who was being dragged by the truck he was attached to. You will admit, you were trying not to laugh but this was no joking matter. You teleported in front of the van and placed a hand out with a small force field like magic that stopped the van and even broke the front of the van. You heard a slam in the back of the van and winced. You set a portal below the criminals out side of the local police station. You then teleported the broken van to a dump. You approached Peter and held a hand out. Luckily for you, your hood covered your eyes. Peter looked up at you and grasped your hand. You helped him up and he couldn't help but stare at you.
"Your-"
"Azul? Yes I am. You did a god job tracking them but my advice, keep your phone silent at all cost or at least on buzz. You never know when your going to be on a mission. They usually pop up randomly. My other advice, think through every mission. You don't want to be labeled as the reckless one." You said to him. He nodded.
"Okay thank you so much. Big fan by the way." he said excitedly. You smiled and chuckled. It was typical that he was geeking over a hero or anyone a part of the avengers.
"Of course. Take care. I gotta report back to HQ." You said before walking away. You could feel eyes on the back of you and you knew Peter stpodsthere and watched you in awe.

"What the HELL was that?!" Tony exclaimed. You knew exactly what he was talking about.
"In case you were wonsering, Stark... I left without a scratch and I made sure the kid was okay without any injuries. Your welcome." You snapped back.
"Your mission was to look after him. Not-"
"My mission was to make sure he didn't get into serious trouble and get seriously injured and that's EXACTLY what i did!" You shot back but angrier now. "You should thank me for even agreeing to this mission. You should thank me for even joining this fucking team!" You screamed out. Everyone else who was in the building stared and Tony fell silent. You shook your head and rushed off to your room and locked the door. You sigh as you lean against the door and slide down while putting your face in your hands. You suddenly heard a knock on the door and you growled. "Go the fuck away Tony." You hissed.
"It's Steve... You alright kid?" You heard him ask softly. This is why you liked Steve and saw him as a father. He was always so kind and didn't treat you like a four year old unlike Tony.
"I'm just peachy, Steve." You said sarcastically. "Tony treating me like a god damn toddler feels WONDERFUL" you added.
