Scott bit his lip. So many thoughts were running through his mind.

Emma was sweet, kind, caring, honest, beautiful woman and now she was in trouble because of him.

He bit his lip harder as he got to Emma's door. Never had he ever been so scared before. All those missions, those rescues where he had faced near death and put his life on the line, none of that mattered.

Scott taped on the door.

"Come in, its unlocked," a muffled voice said.

As he pushed the door open, he heard retching coming from the bathroom. Scott rushed over and found Emma throwing up into the toilet.

"Hey, hey. Take it easy," Scott said pulling back her hair as she continued to be sick.

Soon, Emma was done and he pulled her into his lap. Scott smoothed down her hair out of reflex.

"What happened?" he asked.

"A bald man took me after our date," Emma said sniffing back tears as she leaded into Scott.

'The hood. Why would he take Emma. She's so small and honest,' Scott thought.

"He knew what I was, how strong I am. Scott, I'm scared," Emma said, looking into Scott's blue eyes with her sea green ones.
