VIOLET POV

" Hey wait what about that........ bond thingy" I said trying to remember what it was called and then Gray and Zen looked at Ash and he took a deep breath.

" Well ............." He said staring at his hands. I raised an eyebrow. What is the matter? If I can handle being some sick hunter and his psycho brother being a killer I sure as hell can handle this too. 

" Come on" I said getting irritated and then he sighed and looked up.

" Remember I told you that we vampires only fall in love once" He said and I nodded remembering about it.

"Well there is a bond formed between the two people . It binds them for eternity. It has various steps but the last one is the most crucial one. If it is not performed it affects the vampire the most. Since mostly the bond is formed with a human" he said and I stared at him in confusion and somewhere I was arching my eyebrow I tend to do it sometimes even though I don't know how it happens.

" We cannot drink anyone else's blood except for that person until the bond is complete and our strength is halved as well as we cannot use our power well" he said and my eyes widened in shock so much damage and to only one person.

" Okay I get all this stuff af you all being helpless and all but what does it have to do with me" I said I mean why is he telling me his history or their traditions or whatever.

" Well that's the thing it has everything to do with you" Zen said walking towards the bed and then turning around he looked dead serious.

" How?" that was all I was able to ask

" Well the thing is..............." Ash was saying but then stopped and looked at Zen he wasn't looking at me either.

" Oh for God's sake you two" Gray said sounding frustrated and rolling his eyes. He got up and looked at me with that usual glare I was used to by now.

" It's because Ash formed the soul bond with you" he said like it was no big deal and my eyes widened in shock and I looked at him in disbelief are you kidding me?!?!!?!?

" What!! But ..........when" I asked as I thought it was some sort of a joke you can't just form the bond according to what he said

" there are three steps before the final step .

1- You must made the other person drink your blood

2- A confession

3- Physical contact" He said counting them and I looked at him in disbelief then I thought when the hell did this all of this.

" But when did you........." I was going to ask him when Gray interrupted me.

" At the hospital after the accident the doctors gave up on you the reason you are still standing here is because of  the little amount of blood Ash gave you and I think you know about the other two" he said and I remember that time on the roof and then I hit the wall behind me thousands of thoughts going through my head. 

What the hell

" Violet listen to me I know this is a lot to take in but there isn't much we could do" Zen said trying to reassure me he put his hand on my shoulder but I shrugged it off and he looked surprise.

" I for one don't care about this hunter stuff but this is my life brother and I have all the right to spend it the way I want. I am grateful to Ash for saving my life but what you are asking for is beyond my control" I said and with that without even looking at Ash I left the room and ran towards my own and locked it.

What the hell

ZEN POV

Violet left and I felt like a bad brother I mean this isn't her fault and it isn't Ash's fault as well. He  just wanted to save her . This is bad like this We won't stand a chance against  Damon not to mention Ash condition will start getting worse from this point on.

" Well this much was expected" Ash said he didn't look a slightest bit angry instead he looked more like hurt.

"What the hell do you mean? first you end up making a stupid bond with her and then she rejects you and you are acting like nothing happened are you kidding me?" Gray scolded him he was furious well when it comes to Ash his senses just go haywire.

" Look Gray you can't force it " Ash said looking at his bandages.

" Of course you should have let me killed her when I had the chance" Gray said glaring at him and at the same time me and Ash gave him a death glare and a warning saying.

' Don't you even dare'

" Well whatever the case the problem still stand and that is that Damon is coming for all of us and we need you at your best and in this current condition of yours we are in big trouble" I said sighing and they both agreed with me . We have to do something before it is too late.
