ASH POV:

As I closed the door to her room behind me I completely broke down. She doesn't love me even a little bit. After what I have done she despises me.

I somehow walked to mine and Zen's room and as soon as I entered my legs gave out. I fell to the floor and took in a deep breath.

I shook my head a little bit. No this is not important right now. My feelings are not important right now. We are about to go to war. Winning that war is important.

ZEN POV

I Looked at Ash entering the room like a dead body who was suppose to be decomposing but somehow it was still moving. I guessed what could have happened looking at Ash so dead state.

I sighed in frustration Violet is an idiot she should be honest with him and the bigger idiot is that good for nothing King of vampire realm can't he see she is lying.

Why do I have to play the matchmaker I should be the brother who is not suppose to be happy with her little sis having a  fiance and to be overprotective but the problem is with these two I am the only one happy with this marriage. 

I went towards Violets room and opened the door she was pacing back and forth like she lost something more likely her brain as she didn't even notice me entering.

" Hey" I said in a normal tone but she went past me she literally didn't saw me. She was about to cross me again when I grabbed her and turned her towards me.

" HEY!!!!!!!!" I yelled at her face so hard she had to cover her ears.

" What is it Zen I am busy" she said groaning and then shoving my hand away from her shoulder and continuing her walk. I sighed in frustration and sat down on the chair.

" What did you say to Ash" I asked her and she flinch and I knew I hit the arrow right on target.

" N-N-Nothing" she stuttered avoiding eye contact but she knew better than me she wasn't fooling me with that act.

" what did you say?" I repeated my question now getting up and walking towards her until I was standing right next to her

" Well" I said raising an eyebrow she was probably trying to come up with some sort of lie but at the end she gave up and sighed.

" I don't know" she said and now that was a shocker as I am pretty sure all of that came out of her mouth

"Meaning?" I said sitting next to her on the bed she looked at me and I understood what she was going through she was so confused in her own feelings she got no clue whatsoever she did just a few minutes ago. she got up and just started talking.

" I know I shouldn't have said all that but I don't know what is wrong with me these days things are changing and I have no clue whatsoever what to do now it it's also confusing now he is being weird" she said all of that so fast it even took me a minute to register to what she just said

" HE.... is being weird? seriously I think we both know the weird one here is you sis" I said and she gave me a look like she was about to cry she whined like a kid and sat down on the bed next to me. I chuckled. She is being like Tina today which is a rare sight to see after Mom and Dad's death. I put me hand on her shoulder and pulled her closer to me

" Listen you are confused about all of this I get it but its not Ash's fault right if someone should be blamed it is me for not telling you okay. Ash ........... I can't believe I am saying this. But he is a nice guy and that is the truth we both know that. okay things will sort out in here [pointing towards her head] and here [pointing towards her heart]Okay so chill" I ended my so short but incredible speech she gave me a small smile and then hugged me

" Thanks bro" she said I hugged her back

" anytime, Now I think you have an apology to do right and I need to talk to that idiotic scientist" I said and she chuckled  and then I got up and went outside of her room. Wow I feel tired being a big brother is hard.

VIOLET'S POV:

I took a deep breath before I opened the door to his room. It took all my strength to take a step inside. Ash was sitting on the bed with his head resting on the head board. His eyes were closed.

"Zen close the door behind you and switch off the lights." He said.

I closed the door and went to his side I was standing on the opposite end and now looking closely I could see how beat up he was

"Zen I told you t...." he froze as soon as he opened his eyes.

His eyes widened as he saw me standing in front of him and in a matter of seconds he hid all the distress I saw on his face and flashed a huge smile.

"Hey what up. Do you need something" he asked.

I shook my head.

"Ash I am so sorry. It's just that I was so frustrated. And I took all that out on you. I did not think about what I was saying. My mouths just kept speaking without giving it any thought. With all of this going on ........ you know what i mean" I told him looking down at my hands.

"It's okay. I didn't really mind. I never mind and the person speaking is you." He smiled and winked led at me.

I let out a small laugh. At that very moment the door opened once again and Zen came inside.

"YOU go get some rest. Don't forget that you were not supposed to get out of bed today." He said pointing towards me.

"And YOU" he said pointing towards Ash. "Stop flirting with my sister" he said.

"WHAT. Is saying that hurt flirting to you. You heartless idiot." Ash asking feigning hurt.

"Yes it is when it comes out of your mouth." He said.

I laughed and got up. I went back to my room with at least a little bit of ease in my mind and heart. As soon as I lay down on my bed sleep took over me.
