THIRD PERSON POV

While on the other side Kisuke and Yoruichi were already done with their enemies and were wrapping up the small flies on the battlefield. They were barely hurt goes to show you how strong and experience these two have.

While Jace was struggling a bit with his opponents they seemed to be more experienced than him. But he was doing a good job holding his own against them. He was a bit distracted as he was worried about Leah. He thought of her like a younger sister her being here was putting him in hell and he couldn't see her anymore among all the blood shed and fighting. That is what was ticking him and not letting him focus. Jace Zanpactoe gave him a lot of speed enough to counter attack the enemy he took a hit deliberately to let enemy think he got him and then sliced him from behind. Now that was over, he went to look for Leah.

Gray was getting a bit dizzy his lost of control was causing him a headache and he had some serious injuries from his previous fight. But he can't stop fighting not when Ash is still on the battlefield it is against his Vows. He staggered a little and went on one knee grabbing his head with a hand. Enemy took this as a chance of attacking and taking out one of the strongest but before he could do much Leah took care of him. Gray finally got back on his feet Leah supported him from behind while standing behind him with their backs connected.

"You should heal yourself aren't you good at that" she inquired while focusing on the enemy.

"It takes more strength to heal myself and time. I'm lacking in both departments right now" he told her as he pushed back an enemy.

"That's not good" she said while fighting. She was worried Gray was losing a lot of blood plus he was pushing himself too hard it can cost him big if something is not done quickly. Suddenly a bolt of white light was seen and all the enemies around them fell to the ground it was Jace. He didn't look too pleased with Gray being near his sister.

"I am running like a wild animal around the battlefield trying to find you and you are here flirting with him" he said pointing at Gray. While Gray just ignored his comment.

"I didn't ask you to become one" Leah said as a counter attack but Gray fell on the ground. He started coughing blood it was not looking good. Leah rushed to his side while putting a hand on his back he was getting pale by the second.

"How about we continue this ......." Jace was saying when he was suddenly attacked from behind, he quickly put his sword in front to defend himself. He was struggling against their strength. When he heard a scream he quickly turned around. Two were coming at Leah and Gray and she stood in front as a shield.

"Get out of the way!!!!!!!!!" Gray exclaimed trying to move but his legs were not agreeing with him.

'IDIOT!!' He thought and before anything wild could happen he pushed her away and he took the hit for her. While Gray finally able to move killed the two of the enemies.

"JACE!!!!!" Leah exclaimed and rushed to her side while the Twins finally got there taking care of what was left of the enemy. Gray got to one side with one hand on his wound on the chest. Leah held Jace head and his face was becoming stain with her tears.

"Seems like that argue will have to wait" he said coughing he became weak in an instant.  

"Come on brother get up" she pleaded him he struggled to open his eyes. He coughed his blood. Gray was about to heal him up but Jace grabbed his hand gesturing him to not bother. He knew very well he wasn't going to make it.

"Listen stop crying For God sake sis" he said trying to wipe her tears but she wasn't stopping he turned his head to look at Gray.

"You take care of her" he said and gray nodded

"Promise me!" he said a little louder

"I promise" Gray said and Jace relaxed and took Leah's hand in his

"Listen you be a good girl okay and don't become sad because if you do it, I will also be sad" he said and with all the tears she only nodded and Jace body started glowing he was disappearing. This is how the existence of a hunters ends with no traces of them left behind. Leah frantically started collecting him but it was meaningless and just like that he disappeared in the mist and she finally let it out. But Gray got her and held her close to her chest patting her head and just looking in the direction Jace disappeared.

"I promise I will" He whispered Holding onto her as she clung to him like a four-year-old.

Jace disappearance was sensed all over the battlefield.

"Kisuke....." Yoruichi said with hurt in her eyes.

"I know" he said and that was all he could do to soothe her wife at the moment.

"Damn it!!" Zen exclaimed with anger They were well prepare to lose one of their own but so soon was not expected especially not Jace.

"Poor Leah "Alexei said while Violet was two feet away from her, they both were worried about her but sensing that Gray was near her they decided to leave it at that.
