VIOLET'S POV:

I opened my eyes to a very blurry figure standing beside me. He was holding my arm in one hand and looking at something on his own arm. I guess Kisuke was taking my pulse. Why does my head hurt?

"So, you finally decided to wake up. Do you know that you almost drove those two idiots to the edge. Hey don't sit up. Keep still." Kisuke said as I tried to get up.

"How long was I out" I asked as he walked to the door.

"About ten days or so" he said before he opened the door and went out probably to tell the other that I had woken up. He came back after a few seconds. And came to stand beside me followed my Yoruichi.

"How do you feel. Any pain anywhere." She asked like a worried mother i liked that.

"No, I'm fine. Just a bit of a headache." I smiled at her.

"That and the blurry vision are because of weakness." He said as I looked at him shocked

"How..." I was saying when he cut me off.

"I have my ways" he said just examining me

"Why does my throat hurt so bad it's like on fire" I said touching my throat Kisuke and Yoruichi looked at each other.

"You took a major blow so this was the only way to save you "he said and I got the rest so he went with the transformation well I was expecting one soon anyway. I was lost in thought when Kisuke touched my shoulder.

"Hey go easy on Ash he didn't have a choice at that time. Also, you still have your hunter's powers and you won't necessarily have to drink blood to survive. You can still die like other vampires you just won't age anymore is all." He said and I just nodded in agreement.

I was still in the process of processing what he had just said when the door opened once again and Zen, Gray, Leah followed by Alexei entered the room. I could sense that Ash was close by but he didn't come in with the others.

"Violet. Are you alright? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? Does it hurt. Oh, you scared the life out of me. Why did you do that. What was on that crazy good for nothing mind of yours. How could you do that to me?" Zen burst on me like the overprotective brother he is.

"Bro. Chill I'm completely okay. Comfortable and glad to be back on my bed and pillow again I missed them so much on our long very long vacation." I grinned at my brother who let out a sigh of relief

"Hey calm down will ya. She just woke up from a long slumber. Give her room to breath." Alexei said placing a hand on my brother's shoulder.

Zen nodded and a placed his arm around her shoulder as he took a few steps back and stood beside the window. What just happened did I die and move on or are those two really seeing eye to eye for once I thought as my eyes widened.

"Hey. You okay?" this time Gray asked and now I really question my mental health and current situation and I swear my eyes just jumped out of their sockets.

"Gray are you talking to me?" I asked smiling

"Nope to your pillow. It suffered so much without any rest" the sarcasm hit me and the old Gray returned ladies and gentlemen.

"Hey be nice. Hey sleeping beauty did you have a good long dream" Leah said as she slapped Gray arm and he held his hands up in surrender as he moved back again.

"Are you sure I was only in a coma for a few days and not for a few years." I whispered to Yoruichi as I looked at the two couples flirting in front of me. How could something that couldn't happen in four years happen now. So suddenly.
