VIOLET POV:

I was heading towards my room after a long lecture from Ash's mother. She was telling me of the current conditions with the lords, not much progress if you ask me. The door of the room was opened. Strange I swear I closed it when I left. Maybe Leah is back. I went towards the door and opened it. Well how do I put it? It was more like a movie scene and I couldn't help but smile. This will be fun.

"Heard about closing the door you two" I said ruining the perfect moment. Those two jerked away from each other. Leah was embarrassed while Gray was angry.

"Hey you heard about knocking" he said looking infuriated

"What common sense is there in knocking on the door of your own room" I said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"And aren't you prohibited to come in here. Looks like the mighty vampire lord isn't that invincible as he can't remember some basic rules." I said and I could see every word turning into daggers and stabbing Gray pretty hard.

"Seems like someone's age is finally catching up to them" I said smirking and walking towards Leah and it looked like his head blew up I could really picture it so well.

"What are you smiling at it is your fault I got into trouble with Ash in the first place. You've got a grudge against me or something?" he said holding back his intent to kill me.

"Is it that obvious and here I was trying so hard to hide it" I said and he saw through that sarcasm act. I was hitting a lot of nerves at once.

"You wanna have a go. I'll show you whose is superior once and for all" he said challenging me openly.

"Oh, really why not I would really like a Mop with your face on it" I said and right now it was a fight between the devil and the vampire. Lightning striking in the background.

"Come on guys" Leah trying to do damage control. We were glaring at each other when Gray looked away suddenly. Like he was in a trance or something then he snapped out of it.

"Ash is calling us......... All of us" he said and he looked serious why would Ash need us. Now of all time.

AFTER 15 MINUTES

"Took you long enough" Ash said and Leah greeted him while me and Gray were having a staring contest. We were killing each other in our minds possibly picturing the worst death case scenario.

"Umm.... What happened" Ash said pointing at the two of us. While Leah just sighed in exhaustion and me and Gray didn't bother to reply. We were pretty busy ourselves.

"The usual" Leah chose very simple yet appropriate words for the situation and Ash just gave an 'OH' expression understanding the situation.

"Well I called you guys here for something important......." He said but we both didn't listen to him and picked up two pens from his desks and threw them on us. They hit our head so hard seriously even teacher's one doesn't hurt that much. We turned around reverting our attention from each other to him.

"Anyways the reason I called you all is regarding the veil" he said and he looked worried. Seems like this is pretty serious.

"Seems like the veil has weakened due to recent events and now the power from the other side is flooding into the vampire realm" he said wow that has never happened before according to Kisuke that is.

"It is sending that power in the form of Spiritual waves. We need to find a way to balance it or it could cause serious problems for us" Ash said and I was thinking what could work Kisuke didn't mention the veil that much but I have read a few books at it. Maybe something could help.

"Like what this is the first time the veil is causing problems for us" Gray said and for once he was thinking like a true leader.

"Maybe we should ask Kisuke he is an expert on stuff like this" Leah suggested well good suggestion if you ask me.

"We can't open a portal with the veil's current condition" Ash said and that plan went down pretty quickly.

"How about restoring it restoration abilities" I said and they looked like I told them to do integration or something.

"What powers" Ash inquired and I remember reading about it in one of Kisuke's book. Time to put that stupid boring reading training to work.

"The power of veil up and down keeps happening due to natural phenomena as well. So, the veil has a mechanism to restore itself. But this time it was weakened to a great level. How about we help in boosting its healing powers and it will do the rest itself." I suggested and they nodded in agreement.

"But what about the spiritual waves coming our way?" Gray inquired

"Well that kind of waves depends on the amount of spirit energy it had in the beginning. If it is weak it won't make so far mostly half way through the forest according to my calculation" I said well it will lose power on its way and as it can't absorb more than it already has then the waves shouldn't be a problem.

"Gray gather around other Vampires with healing powers just like yours and tell them about the plan. You have to boost the Veil's power and it will do the rest itself." Ash ordered him and he nodded him in agreement

"But you better hurry the waves will get stronger as the Veil weakens. It could end up generating a wave powerful enough to reach the city" I warned him and he teleported himself away. After a few moments his presence was gone from the city. Must have went to the veil.

"What about the other side is it okay?" Leah inquired looking worried even I was worried for Zen and the others.

"No, our side is worst since power level here is greater than the other side it doesn't affect them that much" Ash said reassuring us. Well I hope this ends quickly.
