Chapter Six

06 - Love

The next day, I am so enthusiastic about our summer trip that I completed packing my belongings in just one hour. When I got down there, Jax was waiting for me.

He was having a conversation with my parents. Mom and Dad are probably busy with requests and instructions since this will be the first time I will be traveling out of town without many companions. That idea nearly made me laugh out loud.

When they saw I was getting close to them, they stopped chatting.

Then I turned to face mother and kissed her on the cheeks before facing dad and doing the same.

My brothers were preoccupied at work due to the tight schedules and packed meetings, and they just recently sent me a text message about my vacation with Jax.

Daddy re-emphasized something to Jax, saying, "Don't forget about our requests, Jax." I saw Jax nodding. "Don't be worried, tito Zion. I'll take care of her," Jax replied.

We said our goodbyes to my parents and walked outside. Matteo, Jax's driver, picked us up and took us to the airport.

Because Jax was there for the ride, the journey did not get mundane. Whenever traveling with Jax, I never got bored even though we travel for long drive places.

The Villaraza's chauffeur comes to pick us up. We finally arrived at the resort after a long but enjoyable journey. The sights were just breathtaking.

I took a few steps back and gazed at the clear view of the beach; it was pretty calm. My gaze was drawn to the resort's panoramic vista, where I took in every aspect of the breathtaking landscape before me.

We were approached by a member of their staff who directed us to Jax's villa."

"Good afternoon, Sir! Thank you for visiting here with your lovely girlfriend. Enjoy your stay here." Miss Alena, a member of the staff, greeted us and expressed her appreciation for our visit. It was as though she had waved goodbye and left us to roam about in our own room.

I saw the flowers strewn over the bed. It has the appearance of a honeymoon suite. My cheeks became warm at the idea of it.

I took a few steps into his villa and glanced around. The mirrored wall that stretched from floor to ceiling was magnificent. Providing me with a breathtaking view of the sea.

When Jax's arms curled around my waist, he whispered, "Do you enjoy it?" While he was holding me tight, I felt his chest pressing against my back. There was no more space between us at this point.

"It's really stunning, Jax," I said as I raised my eyes to his.

The warm breeze blew through the room just as the sound of the waves hit my ears.

"Would you want to go for a swim?" he inquired in my ear.

"All right, Jax, I'll just go in the shower."

The sound of his voice sent chills down my spine. "Hmm... I'll wait for you outside. Please don't keep me waiting." I gave him a knowing nod.

When I went to the restroom, I was surprised by how large it was. I couldn't resist the allure of the rose-filled bathtub. However, it will take time, and Jax is waiting for me, and he may get bored if I am in the toilet for an extended period.

I blew out my hair and put a bikini under a summer dress to cover it up for the occasion. The moment I walked out the door, I saw Jax chatting to one of the company's workers.

He patted the man on the shoulder and walked over to me to say hello. I took a deep breath and absorbed the fragrance of the fresh wind in the air. It was very soothing.
