"No! I want to go with you!!!"

Chunhwa slowly stopped walking, amusedly and curiously watching the scene that is unfolding in front of her. Hansung continued wailing in his brother's arms as Danse tries to block him from clinging to Sunwoo while the older Hwarang fondly looks at him, amused.

"I want to go with you! Why can't I go???"

"I will go with him, let goooo—" the younger Hwarang wails louder as his older brother starts to drag him away from Sunwoo.

Sunwoo sighs at him and finally turns around to find Chunhwa watching Hansung with an exasperated yet amused expression. As the two brothers finally disappeared from her sight, that's when she only realizes that Sunwoo has already been looking at her.

The female teacher looks away for a moment and then back at him again, feeling embarrassed for some reason. She then smiled a little and bowed before turning around and finally walking away.

"Aigoo, you're such an idiot Heo Chunhwa." she whispers to herself, taking out the small red pouch she was hiding on her right sleeve and looked at it with a sad expression.

"You can't even approach your old friend."

Pa Oh sighs for probably the 50th time that day as he stared into thin air, not even paying complete attention as Jidwi entered the rest hut where he was currently on and stood up in front of him. The young king looked down at him while he looked back up, remaining lifeless and not even standing up to pay respect. Jidwi couldn't help but scoff in disbelief.

"Yah, you don't even stand anymore." he couldn't help but grit his teeth in slight annoyance.

"My apologies," Pa Oh sighs once again, "I have no strength in my legs."

"Just a minute," another sigh, "let me stay like this for a minute."

"Just tell me the truth won't you? You want to be equals with me." Jidwi says, crossing his arms and that's when the older man finally looked up at him and immediately stood up.

"The Queen warned you in her letter. 'Stay.' You saw that the letter told you to stay." Pa Oh says, exasperatedly.

"But why did you have to volunteer? Why didn't you just follow the Queen just like what Chunhwa did?"

Jidwi looked away, sighing quietly but didn't respond.

"Do you think your life is your own?" Pa Oh continues, "Without you, there is no Silla."

"You were seven when I brought you and Chunhwa out of the palace, I watched you grow up and protected you!" the older man couldn't help his lips but wobble, him being close to tears. The young king couldn't help but cringe a little at the way his royal bodyguard was acting.

"I know, I know. I understand, so calm down—" Jidwi brought a hand up in order to try and comfort him but Pa Oh only swats his hand away dramatically. Jidwi gave him an odd look and crossed his arms once again, looking away exasperatedly.
