"The best strategy of war, is not to fight a war."

Hwarang Assistant Chief Instructor Bujae's voice boomed across the lecture room inside the Hwarang House. He continued his words as he walked around the podium, spouting more words about the topic for the class discussion.

"When will Sunwoo return?" Hansung sighs to himself but loud enough for Yeowool, who was sitting beside him to hear.

"Who knows?" Yeowool sighs back, eyes glued to the Assistant Chief and pretending to listen to the man in front.

"After preventing a war?" he muses in addition.

"I miss him." the younger Hwarang slurs, face scrunching in sorrow— making the older man turn to him with an incredulous look.

"Do you really like Dog-Bird that much?" he softly snorts.

Hansung turns to him, smiling brightly. "Yes!"

He then started to pick his nose with his pinky finger, making the beautiful Hwarang cringe as he looks at him and ask his next question.

"Then what about me?"

"I don't like you." Hansung childishly says, wiping his pinky finger on Yeowool's uniform and making the older cringe harder.

"Why you—!"

Everyone turned their heads to him and Hansung at the loud voice he let out unconsciously, the Assistant Chief abruptly stops from speaking and the Hwarang General raised his eyebrow at them. Yeowool clears his throat and sat up straight, nudging Hansung sharply.

"I will deal with you later." he says through gritted teeth, apologizing to everyone with a sheepish smile.

With that, everyone returned their attention back to the Assistant Chief as he continued to where he left off. Yeowool then catches Chunhwa's eye who was actually watching him, still silently laughing. The Hwarang then smiles at her, and she immediately smiles back.

Chunhwa rests her body against the biggest tree in the shooting range field, eyes closed and her breathing even as she slept lightly— relaxing herself after another day of training the Hwarang men in their swordsmanship skills. As she slowly falls into a deeper slumber however, light footsteps in the grass invaded her hearing and she couldn't help but put her guard up while acting like she was still asleep.

"I knew I'd find you here." a familiar voice softly spoke, making her snap her eyes open and look up to find someone staring down at her.

"Master Yeowool?"

Yeowool grins and immediately sits down beside her— he too leaning against the tree to rest his back and closed his eyes with a smile.

"Ah, this is nice." he sighs contently, enjoying the soft blow of the wind around them despite the hot weather lately.

"Were you looking for me?" Chunhwa couldn't help but ask as she looks at him.
