Princess Sookmyung stood in front of the make-shift prison made of thick bamboo, silently seething in anger and disbelief at seeing the Silla warriors in such a state. The four Hwarang men stood at the opposite side, inside the prison— all heads bowed perhaps in shame or respect to the person standing in front of them outside.
"My apologies." Sooho breaks the unnerving silence that engulfed the whole place, looking up at the Princess eyes as he continued to speak.
"They locked up Miss Ahro, we could not let that be."
"Who cares if they lock up or kill that half-breed physician?" the Princess says coldly, anger seeping through her words. However, this made the rest of the Hwarang men turn their heads to her in shock.
"Do you even know what lonely and unjust treatment I am enduring for the people of Silla!?" she snaps— remembering how the Prince of Baekje had looked at her and talked to her with disrespectful innuendos earlier that day.
"However, the Hwarang men who should help me ended up like this." her voice softly cracked and the men in front of her couldn't help but look away at that.
"If only you have thought about the disappointment Chunhwa would feel once she finds out about this foolishness of yours, then perhaps this wouldn't have happened." she says in finality, trying to calm the raging anger and disbelief inside her before turning around and walking away.
"If you think it is unjust, shouldn't you fight?" Sunwoo suddenly spoke out, stopping Princess Sookmyung from her tracks.
"Miss Chunhwa would've been disappointed once she hears about us ending up in prison due to our foolishness, but wouldn't be she unhappier if she learned that we didn't fight the things we see that are unjust?"
The Princess turned her head to look at him.
"Especially if that fight is for the people of Silla, we would fight and make sure this does not happen again. If it's unjust you should not endure it but fix it. You came on behalf of Silla, then don't be afraid and blame the others." Sunwoo daringly looks at her in the eye.
"I'm sure she would've done the same too."

"Chunhwa?"
Yeowool blinks— surprise and confusion evident on his face when he opened the doors to his dorm room to find Chunhwa outside, looking left and right to see if anyone is around who could see her in the Hwarang men's dorm house very late at night.
Chunhwa whipped her head towards him and placed her finger in front of her lips with a soft hiss. She wasted no time and pushed him backwards, hurriedly closing the doors softly.
The first thing the young lady notices when she entered the room is Hansung sleeping soundly on the bottom bunk bed by her right, making sure that she hadn't woken up the young Hwarang from his deep slumber. She then finally looked at Yeowool, noticing his untied hair that is freely falling down his shoulders and his silk white sleeping robes— and if the situation isn't urgent right now, she would've blushed and scolded herself for entering a male territory at the dead of the night.
