"Please hurry."
"Hurry!"
"Be careful."
The Hwarang men, mounted in their horses along with Ahro and the rest of the peasants ran along the grass fields as they finally reach the boarders of Silla while the sun slowly rises behind them— providing a sign of hope.
"We made it!" a peasant raises his hands in glee as they stopped in an open space, almost all of them are panting from running since midnight.
"Yes!"
"We made it!"
Almost everyone celebrates while hugging each other, some were jumping with big smiles on their faces.
"We're alive!"
"Master Jidwi!"
"Master Sunwoo!"
A voice booms in the empty field from a distance and everyone whipped their heads to the direction of the voice, finding Chunhwa in her horse galloping towards them. Jidwi looked at her and felt as if everything heavy that his chest is currently feeling was lifted all at once. Sooho smiles at her and raised his hand, about to give her a wave when an arrow shot towards her direction and hits her in the shoulder— making her fall off from her horse.
"Miss Chunhwa!" Sooho shouts in alarm along with a few screams of reaction from what just happened.
An arrow however shot once again, hitting one of the peasants and killing him instantly. Jidwi's eyes widened as he whipped his head from where the arrow came from and everyone started panicking.
"What was that!?"
Sunwoo looks around as well and from a certain direction, soldiers from Baekje started firing more arrows as the Crown Prince of Baekje and his General watch in the middle. The panicking continues and Jidwi looks at them in alarm.
"Spread out! Spread out!" he shouts in command, looking at everyone and then at Chunhwa who was miraculously standing and now near their group even after her bad fall— the half of the arrow still stuck deep in her shoulder. He couldn't help but feel relieved even it was short-lived as another arrow from a Baekje soldier kills another peasant.
"Everyone," Chunhwa shouts, a hand clutching her injured shoulder. "Spread out and keep running!"
She sees an arrow that was heading towards Ahro's direction and wasted no time running towards the female physician to block the arrow from hitting her and in exchange— the arrow hits her on her right chest instead.
She falls down, the Hwarangs looks at her aghast especially Ahro.
"Miss Chunhwa!"
Chunhwa still had the audacity to chuckle as she gets up, breaking the half of the arrow with a pained grimace.
"I'm fine."
Sunwoo looks at them and back to the Crown Prince's direction, seething. The Crown Prince brings down his bow, getting another arrow and started to draw it again in aim. Sooho on the other hand realizes that the Crown Prince was now aiming at Sunwoo.
