Arthit's POV

I have never seen someone eat food with the speed Kong was currently inhaling his soup. He had practically pulled me in the room and banged the door shut, locking it behind us. I could see he was really, really mad at me so I didn't comment on the ridiculousness of his action when he also propped a chair against the door. Who exactly was the chair supposed to stop?

He then proceeded to snatch the bag of food from my hand and wordlessly devour the noodles as if he hadn't been fed in weeks. Why could he simply not tell me earlier that he was hungry instead of locking himself up in his room like some petulant teenager. Honestly, sometimes Kong can be so melodramatic. But again seeing what Kong's current mood is, it is much better for my survival to not voice these thoughts aloud.

And I know I should have paid more attention to Kong, especially since I knew how upset he was with me. I had basically done exactly the opposite of all the hours of advice he had given me over Nam. But the past two days have been a whirlwind for everyone involved. Of course I wasn't happy about Nam moving into my apartment. I hadn't even considered that option while we were standing outside the coffee shop with her bags. But when not one but both sets of our mom's gave me hysterical calls about Nam being homeless and that I absolutely must help her, I was left with very little choice. Now I not only was being tugged around by Nam and Kong, I also had parental pressure to deal with. So I cracked. I figured Kong's wrath would be the easiest to handle. Right now though, I am not too sure. And the worst of all, her actual boyfriend was nowhere to be found. I had tried calling Jay almost non-stop all day to explain the situation but it was like he dropped off the face of earth.

I waited till Kong had finished eating his food and pushed the container away with a deep sigh to assure his hunger demon had subsided before I got up from my seat. And although he had completely ignored me up until now, at my movement he snapped his head towards me.

"Where do you think you are going?"

"To get ready for bed."

"P' you had better sit your ass back down."

"Huh? I need to take a shower and change. I am still in my work clothes."

"Too bad. You are not leaving this room again."

"Kong, I need to get out of these clothes."

"You can borrow anything from my closet."

"And where do I change?"

"Here. It's not like I haven't already seen you naked before."

Oh lord! Let's please never go there again.

"So when can I leave the room then?"

"I don't know. Maybe never"

"And how do I go to work then tomorrow?"

"You don't. My family is very rich, we can just live off my inheritance."

I couldn't help but burst out a chuckle. I don't think I have ever seen Kong pout before. In fact I am pretty certain these many nonsensical words have never crossed his lips.

"C'mon Kong. Stop being ridiculous. You know we can't just live in this room forever right."

"I am being ridiculous? You are the one who was supposed to tell your two supposed best friends to fuck off instead of moving your ex-girlfriend back into your house. Is that your new motto in life? Do exactly the opposite of what you plan? Cause I have to tell you, it's a pretty shitty one."

I sighed before I sat back down. It was extremely rare for Kong to lose his temper. And even rarer for him to snap at me. And since there was nothing I could say that could reasonably justify my actions to anyone with half a brain, I decided to just let him vent without trying to make excuses. Also, I would rather not have him kick me out from his room. One night on that god awful couch was more than enough. Plus with Nam constantly puttering about the living room at night I was feeling too awkward, too exposed to manage to get any sleep.
