AOM Sixteen

I don't know if I was more excited or anxious to go back on tour, but I know that by the last twenty minutes of the plane ride, Liz was getting ready to punch me.

"Can you sit still," she hisses through clenched teeth, I gnaw down on my lip and stop from fidgeting in my seat. The light that warns for us to put our seat belts on flashes and I eagerly slide it on and Liz sighs very audibly, annoyance filling her voice.

"Delilah, stop that."

I hear Calum chuckle, he was taking great pleasure in my bugging his girlfriend. Liz harshly forces her seat belt across her lap and grumbles while I start bouncing in my seat again.

"How about I give you a massage when we get back to the hotel, Yeah?" Calum asks, rubbing Liz's neck already and kissing her shoulder, I scrunch my nose and turn away from them, the moment getting more intimate than I wanted to witness.

"Jesus Calum, your hands are freezing. Oh my God, get off me." I turn just in time to see Liz pushing Calum away from her and him desperately trying to place his hands on her body and her squealing and pushing him off her again, the two of them giggling like little kids.

"Can you sit still," I mock her and Calum starts laughing as Liz huffs, trying hard to fight a smile that was on her face.

The pilot spoke on the intercom saying that we'd be landing in five minutes.

"So, are we getting picked up at the airport or?" I ask, and Calum shakes his head.

"No, it's already late so by the time we land they're probably going to be in bed, we're just taking a cab back to the hotel." He says, and I nod.

"You can either sleep with Michael or me," Liz says and I instantly regret the frown that forms on my face, knowing I was being ungrateful.

"I tried my hardest to convince michael to let you share a room with Luke, but he's moved on from protective best friend to over protective big brother... So..." Liz says, and I nod, I'd much rather share a room with Liz, but I know she probably wants to share a room with Calum.

"Michael, I guess," I say, and Liz nods.

By the time our plane landed and we were in the cab, I realized how tired I really was. It was only three when we left back home, but after an eleven hour plane ride, and different time zones, it was two thirty in the morning here in Italy. I yawn as I got in the cab, I hadn't slept at all one the plane, where Liz and Calum slept the whole way through, only waking up an hour before we landed. I didn't know how they'd be able to sleep once we got back, but then remembering how Calum offered her a massage... I figured they weren't going to be doing much sleeping for a while.

I was really excited to see my brother and Ashton, but to be honest, I didn't want to see Luke. I think that after that one night with him, he might have gotten the wrong idea about my feelings for him. Which was strictly friendship, I guess I considered him my best friend. I didn't have many friends in general, and I guess Luke and I hung out enough to be considered best friends, same with Liz and I.

"Ready?" Her and Calum asked at the same time as we pulled up in the front of the hotel. I shrug and get out of the cab to receive my luggage and roll it through the doors of the fancy hotel.

I think the trip in the elevator was even worse than the plane ride for Liz. After looking passed my excessive button pressing, and nail biting, I think rocking back and forth on my heels had done it, because as soon as the doors opened she harshly shoved me through them.
