"New York?" Calum questions, a confused look on his face as he snooped through my underwear drawer. I reach over and push him down with my foot, he chuckles.
"Yeah, I don't know. I really liked it there and I would love to be able to go to school there," I explain. I had called Calum over to discuss with me his outlook on the whole school in New York deal. Calum was a good friend and I trusted him enough, and I wanted him to tell Liz so that I wouldn't get sassed by her for moving away. Luke, and Ashton though, I don't know how I'd tell them. Luke especially. Plus, I respected Calum and he respected me, his opinion to me was important.
"Well if that's what you really want," he shrugs and I furrow my eyebrows.
"That's it?" I ask, expecting more of a reaction. I mean, I was glad this had gone so smoothly, but I expected more.
"Well, if you really want to do this, Delilah, I'm not going to sit here and stop you. You know I respect you and I know you value my opinion, and my opinion is that I think you deserve to do what makes your happy. And if the boys have a problem with it then you knock them out and send them to me so I can talk to them about how much you need to do something for you," he winks and I smile, hugging him then pulling back to run my fingers through the blonde highlights in his hair.
"Are you going to tell Liz?" I ask, pulling back and he nods.
"Probably tonight when she comes over, I'll probably get her naked first, soften the blow," he jokes and I make a face and punch his shoulder.
"Ew," I say and he laughs.
"Well whatever. I'm going to pick Liz up, want me to give you a ride there so you can see Luke?" He asks and I shrug, I never ended up going over the first night we got back, and we had been home for a week. I guess you could say I was kind of avoiding him.
"C'mon Delilah, he misses you. A phone call once a day doesn't cut it, just come see him. You don't have to tell him right away," he says and I sigh, getting up and throwing on my converses before following him to his car, yelling at my grandparents that I was at Luke's and be home later.
"Have you guys even had sex since you been back? Maybe that's why you've been so cranky," Calum teases me as we drive down the road, I felt myself blush.
"I'm not cranky, and no. We've only ever done it like... I don't know, twice." I mutter, feeling so embarrassed to talk about my sex life with him. It wasn't a very active one.
"Only twice? Wow. I would have thought that Luke would be all over you all the time as soon as we got back." He chuckles and I blush, smacking his arms.
"No," I say, moving my hair from my face, "we're not horny all the time like you and Liz."
"Well, speak for yourself. Luke is my best friend and trust me, I know for a fact that's he's definitely horny for you all th-" I slap my hand over his mouth to stop him.
"You better stop your mouth right there," I say and pull my hands away, he laughs and puts the car in park as we pull into the driveway.
"Tell Liz I'm waiting," he says and I nod, reaching over to give him and hug and thank him.
"No problem flower, you can always talk to me," he pecks my cheek and I smile and head up to the house. Calum was the supportive older brother I always needed, not saying that Michael wasn't supportive- well, he wasn't actually. Not all the time at least.
I ring the door bell and there's loud foot steps and muttering voices that are saying things like; "Is that her?" And "oh my god it's her," then from Liz; "shut up idiots, she's just a human."
