"Ashton," I speak on his answering machine, for the third time today.
"I know you're still mad at me, but I'm so sorry and I just want to talk to you. Please, give me a chance. Plus, we're all worried sick about you. Call me, please." I hang up and turn to look over at Luke and Liz, who were sitting on the windowsill in the tour bus. We were on our way back home for Christmas break, but we made a pit stop in Ireland, and Ashton had said he was running out to the store to get some food for the trip, he left at nine in the morning, yesterday. It was now going on eleven and we still hadn't heard from Ashton, I can't help but think this is my fault for what happened with Luke and I last week, he hadn't spoken to either of us since then, hardly Calum, Michael, or Liz either. I couldn't blame him though, I had really hurt him, and I knew what that felt like, so I had no right to do anything that could have put him through any type of pain, but I did.
"Your turn," I sigh, sitting down on the windowsill next to Luke and Liz nodded, taking out her phone and dialling Ashton's number and heading to the other room.
"This is all your fault you know," I hear someone say, at first I thought it was Luke, but when I turned to look at him, he was looking the other direction, I turned too, seeing Calum standing there with his hands balled into fists, staring at me with anger written across his perfect features.
"Excuse me?" I choke, I knew it was though, but I never expected anyone to say it out loud.
"Cal, stop-" Luke stands, raising a hand to interrupt Calum, but he roughly smacks his hand away.
"Shut up. This is your fault too." He spits and pushes Luke out of the way to make his way over to me and jabs a finger in my face.
"If you hadn't done what you did, and treated Ashton the same way he ever would have treated you, we wouldn't have this problem." He starts, and I stand up fighting back my tears as I try to compromise with him.
"Calum, listen-" I say raising both my hands but he grips my wrists tightly, and I gasp loudly, the pain Calum inflicted on my wrists burned down deep.
"No! You listen to me you little bitch! My best mate is out there in the freezing cold, and probably lost out of his mind because he didn't want to cry in front of us anymore because he's ashamed of himself because of what you did to him! He treated you with nothing but kindness since the day we got on this bus and he's totally had a crazy crush on you, and this is how you repay him?!" He shouts in my face, then viscously whips my hands down.
"Jesus, Calum! That's enough!" Luke shouts, pulling him away from me. I reach up, somehow trying to stop the tears from cascading over the brims of my eyes.
Calum harshly rips himself out of Luke's grasp and pushes him to the ground.
"Ashton was your best friend! And you did this to him?! You know, I could almost see Delilah doing this," Calum says shaking his head and laughing a little, "but you're his best friend. I can't believe you." Calum says in disgust.
"You could actually see me doing that?" I whimper, rubbing my wrists. I instantly regret the words coming out of my mouth, I knew that it made me sound even more like a bitch. Calum turns around and marches over to me again.
"You know what they say, Delilah." He growls, venom lacing his words and dripping off his tongue like acid.
"Once a slut, always a slut." He smirks, and I felt myself cry even more. He was completely right, I was, and always will be a slut. I push past Calum and Luke, Liz was just walking back in the room, muttering about what the hell was going on.
I ran past Michael in the TV room, who had obviously heard everything, and acknowledge my crying, but he didn't care enough to come after me. Not that I deserved comfort right now, but I needed it. I wasn't getting it though, I wasn't allowing anyone comfort me right now, when I had done something so wrong.
