I started feeling better. My cuts were mostly healed thanks to the fact they were superficial. The one on my wrist too longer because how deep it was. My stitches also itched like a bitch. Every time I tried to itch them, Zander smacked my hand.

"Hey!"

"No, you'll get an infection," he warned as he pointed at me and gave me a look.

"Well, it itches," I whined.

"Want some cheese with that whine," he asked.

"Cute," I rolled my eyes.

"I thought so," he shrugged.

There was a knock at the door and he got up, answering it.

"Just make yourself at home," I rolled my eyes.

"Don't mind if I do," he retorted as he opened the door. I turned to see Violet walk in carrying a bag. Zander closed the door and they walked over with cheesy grins.

"What?"

"Avery Foster, it's time a new look. I don't think this one goes with your facial structure," she said with a look.

My eyes widened and jaw dropped. Then Zander walked over and picked me up, carrying me upstairs bridal style.

"Zander!"

"Don't worry. I promise my sister will not dye your hair a different color."

That made me feel so much better.

I sat there as Violet went to work. Because of my hair being chopped so badly, Violet went shorter than I was use to. Once she was able to get it all cut into some sort style, she decided to give me some light highlights.

I still wasn't sure about this.

She washed my hair, then styled it. She opened the door and Zander looked at me with surprise.

"What? Is it bad," I asked, feeling my hair.

"No, it's amazing," he said in awe.

I stood up and took a look in the mirror.

I couldn't believe it

I couldn't believe it. It actually look good and I stood there staring. The longer I stared, I became overwhelm. I started to cry. I know people think it's vain to cry over hair but when someone chops it off and makes it look bad, you tend to cry.

As I stood there and sobbed I felt someone slip there arms around me from behind me and hold me close. Zander.

"Shhhh," he soothe me

"Shhhh," he soothe me. He held me as I cried. As much as Zander was a cheesehead, he was really sweet. I had sorely misjudged him.

I was able to get my stitches out and my black eyes disappeared. Most of my cuts had healed when I returned to school.

I walked into the school and heard clapping. I stopped to see other students clapping as Zander walked towards me.

"Why do I have a feeling you had something to do with this," I asked him with a side glance.

"Not clue," he shrugged. He leaned down and gave me a kiss, before wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

As we walked down the hallway, people watched but I didn't care. I was with Zander.

At lunch, we sat together sharing ear buds while watching a movie, as Lance walked over with Roxanne and a few others.

"Yes can I help you," Zander asked them.

"You think this is over," Lance asked him.

Zander crosses his arms and gave them a look, "I'm guessing you want to get your ass beat again?"

"I would like to see you try," Lance barked.

Zander shrugged and stood up. I never really noticed but Zander kind of towered over Lance and he was bigger size wise.

"Care to say that again? Unless you want your ass handed to you again," he said calmly.

"Bring it on," Lance challenged.

I sat there and before I knew it, Zander hit him them got on top of him as he beat the hell out of him. Roxanne jumped on Zander's back and clawed at him.

"Get off me you stupid hoe!"

Then I saw her mouth move to him.

"Oh hell no! Get off my man!" I ran and jumped on her causing us to all tumble. Before I knew it, we were all on the floor going at it. I grabbed a hold of Roxanne by her hair and yanked, "this is for chopping my hair!" Then I hit her, "this is for cutting me with a pair of scissors!" Punch! "And this is for being a hoe!" Smack!

"Ow! Avery!" Zander yelled when I elbowed him in the nose.

"Sorry babe! But you should have ducked!" He rolled his eyes as we went to town beating the hell out of them until teachers pulled us off of them.

"Principal's office now!" They ordered us.

I hauled off and kicked Roxanne before walking to the office with Zander. Needless to say our parents were called. We sat there as they talked to the principal, then Roxanne's parents and Lance's parents walked in.

"Oh for Christ sakes," dad sighed.

"I should have known," the woman said.

"You you freaking kidding," Zane exclaimed.

"Why does this not surprise me," the other woman said. Zander and I looked at each other. We watched them argue with each other before things got heated and our parents all got into a fight. Fists were flying as our mother's jumped on the women. My guess is they had history.

The police got called and had to break up the fight. Needless to say our parents took us home and we were grounded. I'm still trying to figure out how we got grounded considering they also got into a fight with someone. Guess it's do as I say but not as I do.

We also got suspended. Oh yay!

At least I can say senior year wasn't boring but then again, dating a cheesehead will keep you on your toes.

Theses were going to be a long two weeks of being grounded. At least by the time we come off grounding it will be in time for Halloween. My favorite holiday of the year. Some people like Christmas. Not me. I loved everything halloween.

Well, at least I had my phone, until my parents took it. Maybe if I do smoke signals, Zander will see them. You know go old school. Like way old school. I was so going to miss cheesehead. Cue the dramatic music.

Eh, at least I can see him when I get back to school. Woo hoo!
