Mafumafu wondered what had driven him to agree to Amatsuki's request. Now that he was experiencing the party first hand, he was regretting it already. He thought that it would be nice to go out once in a while and he had accepted Amatsuki's invitation to another party of his on a whim, but of course, he quickly had second thoughts on his decision as soon as he stepped inside the building.

The blaring lights and loud booming music wasn't doing anything good to his heart. Not to mention the people constantly trying to hit on him, boy or girl. Everything was making him uncomfortable. Amatsuki had left him hours ago and now, he was stuck on the bar, a glass of juice on his hand and a pounding head to accompany him.

He fumbled with the drink, looking down and watching the liquid swirl on the glass. He had a frown on his face since he wasn't feeling good and he let out a soft sigh. He was too tired to blame Amatsuki or even get mad at him and all he wanted to do was to go home.

He could've easily went but that's the problem. He can't even get up. He was scared that he might get cornered if he tries to leave. He had been observing people and he saw a girl get led on by a guy and he shuddered at the thought of someone going to him.

He just wished that Amatsuki would remember him in his drunk addled mind and remember that he has a friend, waiting for him, scared out of his wits.

While the albino was busy getting lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice a man staring at him. He didn't even realize that someone had already sat beside him, not until the man cleared his throat and tapped a finger on the table.

Mafumafu let out a smakl squeak and he looked up, eyes getting clouded with fear and uncertainty.

“U-Um… Yes…?” He hesitantly spoke in a small voice.

The raven just looked at him apologetically and with a hint of sympathy.

“You look like you could use some fresh air,” he calmly said.

Mafu’s eyes widened and he just let out a short chuckle before averting his gaze.

“Uh, yeah. It's f-fine, I guess? I'm waiting for a f-friend…” Mafu spoke, still in the same quiet voice, hoping that the man would leave him alone since he was getting a bit scared now.

The man noticed, of course and he moved away a bit.

“I won't do anything. I hate this party just as much as you do. I was just forced to come here. I don't even have my wallet with me,” the man spoke, chuckling in his deep voice and it made Mafu shiver.

The albino looked up skeptically before letting out a small sigh. Nothing bad would happen if he goes with the man, right?

He gave a small nod and he stood up, moving closer to the man and tugging his shirt.

“L-Let’s go then,” he said.

The man then blinked before smiling and he nodded, standing up too and taking Mafu's hand.

“Sorry. I might lose you in the crowd, so…” he quickly explained.

Mafu was surprised but he just nodded too and he followed the man as he expertly dodged the people and within a few minutes, they were out of the building.

The cold breeze hit Mafu as soon as they stepped out and it made him sneeze.

It took him a minute to realize that the man already let go of him.

“Thank you for getting me out… Um…” he trailed off, shyly looking up at the raven.

“Soraru,” he spoke.

Mafumafu smiled.

“Soraru-san.”
