~???'s POV~
I held the gun in my hand, a finger on the trigger. I was fully aware what I was doing and how I was doing it. Holding down the trigger, it was too late to realize my brothers standing in the doorway of my room, watching me fall to the floor with a pile of blood lying around me. I didn't want them to see me like this. But I can't say I feel any regret.
My name is --------, one of the oldest in heaven. Akotor is the youngest and Sosor's the middle child between the three of us, both whom I love very much. I live with Akotor, and Sosor sometimes comes to visit, which happens to upset other angels and anger other demons. That's fine with me though.
"Rise and shine, whores!" A female angel was standing in the middle of the room, flapping her large wings in our general direction. I knew it was just Sosor. Since heaven's and hell's soldiers never exactly got along all that well, any demon, or sometimes a human if they figure a way up here, will be kicked out. Permanently or temporarily expelled depending if they have done anything considered 'sinful' or 'damaging' to heaven or its soldiers.
In other words, Sosor is actually a demon. Surprising that two angels like her, right? The three of us happen to be together, as in an actual, somewhat-functioning relationship. Other angels and some demons know, and they lose trust in her and us for it. Doesn't matter.
I woke up first, yawning and tired. I stretched a little and rolled out of bed, my wings fluttering and relaxing. "Whose target did you snatch this time?" I kissed her cheek, patting the top of her left wing. She rolled her eyes and returned the kiss, going over to drag Akotor out of bed.
"Found this hot piece of ass in the hallway. There's a chance I knocked her out after I snuck in," she said. She dragged him out of his comfortable or semi-comfortable spot and dropped him on the ground. "Wake up! We're heading down to the surface, because today's the day, and we all promised."
~Chance's POV~
Amser set the orb down she was showing me. It was the same vision orb I had, but she made her own adjustments to it. It was supposed to show me what would have happened if I didn't stay with Liam and Theo, if they let go of me. "See how free you can be without them? Without them dragging you down, tearing up your angelic reputation in heaven?"
I started to nod, noticing the grin on her face. "What's the point of being free if I'm not free with the people I love?"
She looked taken back, gasping in false surprise. "Are you saying you love two children over your own friends?"
"No."
"What?" she asked, confused and crossing her arms.
"I'm saying I love my two, living, healthy brothers over two people that can already watch over themselves without me. Akotor and Sosor are strong enough on their own, so I'd make their own relationship unstable if I interrupted by being there."
"What if I can give you both....~?"
