It was after the play and Leo had convinced me to let him walk me home. To be honest, I've only had a boy walk me home one other time in freshman year. It was Kai and that night he had told me about his huge crush on Evelyn. I was a little disappointed since I thought he was quite cute but I got over it quickly. I really didn't have the heart to tell him that Evelyn didn't like him like that.
Leo and I walked with a type of silence. It wasn't awkward but it was as if it was expecting something. Was he expecting something?
Suddenly I felt his hand slide around me, basically engulfing it. He placed both of our hands in his jacket pocket quickly and he sighed.
I glanced over at him momentarily and he looked back before I looked away quickly.
He seemed to chuckle at bit at my expression and I smiled.
"Don't be so nervous." He finally said as he squeezed my hand.
"I'm not." I mumbled.
"It's not like I'm going to do anything to you, geez. I'm the one who should be worried." He joked as he took a couple of steps away from me while still holding onto my hand.
"Ha ha. Very funny." I shook my head and pulled him back towards me as we continued to walk.
It was rather cold tonight considering it was spring time.
"But though seriously, I won't do anything to you if you're not comfortable." He mumbled while looking down at me.
"I know. Trust me. I'm not uncomfortable." I answered truthfully.
We arrived at my apartment door and I really didn't want to let go of Leo's hand. That was the last thing I wanted to do for sure.
"So..." I mumbled while looking around, our hands both in the middle of us.
"So..." Leo mumbled back.
"I guess this is goodnight then." I looked towards the apartment door sadly.
"I guess it is." Leo smiled.
I turned back to Leo and he quickly leaned down and peaked me on the lips.
I froze almost instantly as he leaned back.
Leo's eyes widened," I'm sorry. Was that not okay?"
I looked up at him, my heart pumping out of my chest. One thing was for sure. I really really wanted to kiss him. I looked up at his lips and I went for it.
I quickly leaned forward and pushed my lips against his. He seemed a bit taken back at first, but then he kissed me back softly while letting go of my hand and putting his hand on the side of my face. His hand was cold against my cheek, but I liked it. I liked everything about him.
I felt a tingle fill my stomach while I felt how passionate his lips were against mine.
His lips started growing softer and gentle. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer while he put his arms around my waist, pulling me closer towards him so that there was no room in between us. After a couple of seconds, I pulled away and smiled as he did the same before quickly giving me a couple more small kisses all over my face.

He put both hands on my face and he pushed our foreheads together, "Ugh, I'm so into you." He mumbled before peaking me on the lips again. All I could do is smile, because that's all I wanted to do. I couldn't stop smiling even If i wanted to.
"Okay. I'll leave now so your roommate doesn't get suspicious." He smiled before letting my face go and leaning back. I watched as he started to walk away. He turned around and motioned for me to go inside and I motioned for him to leave.
He shook his head while smiling and continuing to walk.
I swear, I felt lighter than air right now.
I slowly turned towards my door and I opened it. I walked into my apartment and Jane was in the living room with her books out.
"Why are you so happy?" Jane mumbled as she looked up at me.
I smiled," No reason."
I quickly walked towards my room as she gave me a gaze.
What a perfect night.

I was walking home with a smile on my face that I couldn't seem to wipe off.
What a night, huh?
I stuffed my hands in my pockets and I continued walking until I heard faint footsteps behind me. I turned around to see none other than the guy I hate, Johnny. He had pitch black hair, accompanied by green eyes. I hated him the most out of anyone else. He always messed everything up.
"Why are you following me?" I asked him sternly.
"I heard you're trying to stay out of trouble." Johnny smirked," How's that working out for you?"
"Why are you following me?" I repeated. He always got on my nerves.
Johnny started walking over to me and I didn't move. I stood my ground. He's the one starting something anyway.
"What's your girls name again? Marlie, is it?" Johnny smirked once he got face to face with me. "Isn't she the guy that you work for's daughter?"
I clenched my jaw," So what? It's not like you can start anything. Your dad will get mad at you anyway."
Johnny's smirked flinched at that,"Don't test me." He simply said before walking past him.
"Just keep on watching over your shoulder, huh? And your girlfriends also." Johnny smiled before disappearing down the street. What's that even supposed to mean?
Immediately after he left I dialed a phone number and put it to my ear.
"Hello?" I asked," Can you pick me up?"
-
I was now sitting in the car with my boss.
"He threatened Marlie." I said blankly towards him as he drove.
My boss' name is David, which I think is a bit too basic for a guy like him.
"Aren't you supposed to be protecting her? Isn't that what I'm paying you for?" David asked as his knuckles on the wheel got tighter.
"I am. I am protecting her." I said in defense.
"Then why is he threatening her now?" David mumbled frustratedly.
I remembered back to Johnny calling her my girlfriend. If I told David that I was dating his daughter, then would he make me stop dating her? Would I be able to stop?
"I have no idea..." I lied.
"Well, that just means you really have to take care of her. You know our deal." David warned.
"I know. I know." I sighed while running my hand through my hair.
Johnny is dangerous, manipulative. I really need to be on my edge.

{Marlie's P.O.V}
It was the weekend after Leo and I's kiss and we were both in class during the beginning of the day.
Almost immediately as I sat down, Leo turned towards me with a big grin on his face.
"So I was thinking, about our first date." Leo said loudly.
I quickly pushed a hand to his mouth while looking over my shoulder to see if anyone was listening. No one was. Evelyn, Jacky, and Kai seemed to be in their own world, studying for a test tomorrow.
"What's wrong?" Leo mumbled against my hand.
I sighed while taking my hand off of him.
"Please please please don't tell our friends we're dating." I put my hands together.
Leo chuckled," And why not?"
"Because! Because I mean, I don't want Jacky to be mad at me. And I don't want Evelyn to ask anything. And Kai is just...awkward."
Leo patted me on the head," Okay. I'll do the whole secretive relationship thing. But," he leaned forward," We can still date right?" He whispered.
I laughed," Of course. What were you thinking for our date?" I whispered back.
"Well I—" Leo suddenly got interrupted by the teacher in the front.
"Students! There seems to be a new student in our class." She said next to a black haired guy. Leo's head turned towards the front and I saw him go stiff.
"This is Johnny."
