Chapter 20

  The bartender finally came over to where I was and uncuffed me.
  "Where is that jerk?" I asked as I hid my tear stained face.
  "HE'S  gone. I was given strict instructions to wait till HE has left the building plus have gone about two blocks away." The bartender said.
  "So, HE'S gone....." I whispered.
  I was starting to cry again, so I hurriedly got it of the club and  found a taxi.
  "Where to Miss?" The taxi driver said.
  I handed him a note with the house address on it. The taxi driver nodded and started to take me home.
  "Are you okay Miss?" The taxi driver asked.
  "I'm fine." I said, looking out the window.
           *Time skip to the house*
  I paid the taxi driver and rushed to the house. Slamming the door behind me and completely falling apart. I just started balling my eyes out and I was hyperventilating.
  Wilfred came down the stairs and instantly came to my side, full of worry.
  "What happened kid?" Wilfred asked.
  "HE was there!! HE WAS THERE!!" I shouted.
  Wilfred was silent for a while, the he hugged me.
  "HE was there Papa....HE said that I will hold HIS heart.....HE said that HE still loves me..." I cried out.
  Wilfred, secretly, smiles gently and he rubbed my back. I cried on his shoulder for a good three hours. When we finally went to bed, it was well past 3:00am.
            *Time skip to about 12:00pm*
  I woke up to the sun shining on my face. And I dragged my feet to the kitchen, where Wilfred was waiting for me.
  "Well Good Morning Sleepy Head." Wilfred said sipping a cup of coffee.
  "You get me sleep in..... And how can you stand coffee?" I asked half asleep.
  Wilfred just chuckled, "My taste buds are different than yours.... And.... I figured that last nights activities..... Well.... You needed some time." Wilfred said.
  A tear fell from my face, "Yeah...." I said with a frown.
  I wasn't the same since that night.....
  For days I wasn't the same......
  For months I wasn't the same.....
  All those days that turned into months.....
    It all went by so fast.
