Jimin

After a long day yesterday at work, it's nice to get a day to relax. Granted, I did stay late to dance with Hobi hyung, but that's not the point. The point is, I'm bored.

I'm sprawled across the chair and Yoongi hyung is laying down on the couch, sleeping. Everyone else is either working or out with their family or other friends, so I call Misun-ah. She's like my best friend other than Taehyungie and Jungkookie, so why not call her?

I call her and ask her to come over and she says she'll come by right now and bring some snacks. The minute we hang up, I run to my room and pick out all the video games we like to play together and even some she likes that I don't like as much. I come out just in time too because right when I set them all down, she knocks on the door softly.

"I brought snacks!" she says quietly after seeing Yoongi hyung sleeping on the couch. I smile and ruffle her hair, taking the snacks from her and setting them down on the coffee table in front of the couch. I ask what she wants to do first and she says she doesn't care; that I can pick the first game. She sits down on the floor on the side of the coffee table and in front of the chair and waits for me to ready the game with a smile.

We make light conversation while the first game--obviously, Dance Dance Revolution--loads and I set up the floor pads. Once she stands up and we get ready to start, we hear crumpling plastic behind us and we both whip around to find Yoongi hyung opening a package of tteokbokki crackers and watching us. I roll my eyes at him and he smiles, taking a bite of a cracker. Misun giggles and shakes her head, turning back around to face the screen.

After Misun beats me at DDR multiple times, we take a break and have some snacks.

"What woke you up, Yoongi oppa?" she asks him, taking a bite of some chocolate. "We were being quiet... or at least trying to."

Yoongi hyung chuckles and says, "You weren't being that quiet if the sound of your voice woke me." Misun laughs and continues eating.

And then an idea pops into my head. Why not screw with Yoongi hyung? It's always amusing to see him jealous and slightly mad.

I stand up to get something to drink and come back with glasses of water for each of us and sit down next to Misun-ah on the floor, but very close to her compared to how we usually sit. I mean, she's my best friend. She knows nothing could ever change that and she doesn't ever want anything to change that.

But Yoongi hyung doesn't know that.

I put my arms around her waist and see Yoongi hyung stiffen. Bingo.

I set my head on Misun's shoulder and she leans her head onto mine, probably out of reflex and takes a sip of water.

"Misun-ah," I whine and she looks down at me. I see Yoongi hyung watching us intently, his grip on his glass of water tightening and making it look like he's going to shatter the cup. She hums and I pout, tightening my hold on her waist. "I missed you."

Misun giggles and ruffles my hair. "I missed you too, Jiminie oppa," she says with a soft smile. I smile at her and I see Yoongi hyung gulp. Now for the last part.

I sit up normally, my hold not budging from her waist and I drag her across my lap so she's sitting on the floor sideways against my legs and her legs are laying over mine. She looks surprised and I lay my head down on her shoulder again. She obviously knows something's up, but she doesn't say anything about it.

"I like you here better," I say just loud enough for Yoongi hyung to hear, now hiding my head in her neck. Then I hear Yoongi hyung slam his glass down on the table. I look up with the best surprised and confused expression as possible and he glares at me before standing up and walking away, smacking the back of my head--not hard, but not quite playfully either--and leaving the room.

"Oppa?" Misun calls after him. "Are you okay?"

He doesn't answer and I start to feel bad. I didn't mean to piss him off that much, just enough. I tell Misun to wait out here and I stand up, walking over to his room and knocking on the door.

"Go away," he states bluntly, not even asking who's at the door. His voice is rough and it sounds like he's really hurt.

"Hyung?" I call softly back. I hear a whispered string of curses and a shuffling.

He opens the door with a glare. "What the hell do you want, Jimin?" he asks harshly. I'm still taken aback. He doesn't just refer to me as "Jimin." It's always "Jiminie" or a form of it.

"Are you okay?" I ask and he rolls his eyes. He tries to shut the door and I put my foot out so it won't shut. He swings the door open again.

"What do you want?" he asks again, this time harsher.

"I'm sorry," I say, looking down at my feet, my hands behind my back. "I was just trying to mess with you. Misun-ah is my best friend and nothing more. I promise. She won't ever be anything but that."

I look back up in Yoongi hyung's eyes. He's hurt by what I did and upset.

"Just go away and leave me alone," he says and shuts the door.

I walk back to the living room with my head down. I feel really bad for upsetting Yoongi hyung, but it's done now and I can't take it back. I see Misun standing near where I left her with a hopeful expression and I give a small shake of my head. Her face falls and I suggest we just watch some movies to try to get into a better mood.

She agrees and for the rest of the day we sit on the opposite sides of the couch, careful as to not let either of us touch the other.

Hey... So I know it's been a while, but I've been really busy with school and cheer. I haven't had the time to write. I will write every time I can. So I'm sorry, but updates are going to be very slow just as they have been. I'm trying to begin wrapping up the book, but don't worry: I have way more than just fourteen chapters done, I just don't have them published.

Until next time :)
