Astrid was awoken by a sound of a clang. She went and found Merida sharpening her arrows. Thank goodness Merida didn't saw Astrid walking by. Astrid secretly watches her sharpening her arrows.
She heard some mumbling from Merida about the boys who tried to win her heart once. Then , Astrid heard a clear mumble about her liking Hiccup. Astrid heard her loud and clear. "Oh Hiccup is so dreamy. I can't believe he chose that blondlike in the first place. Ugh...." sighed Merida.
"What?" exclaimed Astrid as she slid down onto the floor. "She likes my Hiccup too? Why? She knows he's already taken but why is she so stubborn?" thought Astrid to herself. "Oh I've got to do something about this!" shouted Astrid in her head.
A few hours later.......
"Hiccup! wait up!" shouted Merida. "I want to talk to you about something. Can I?" asked Merida. "Umm I have to meet Astrid in a few minutes." said Hiccup.
"Awww come on! It'll only take a few minutes." said Merida.
"Oh well. I think Astrid can wait." replied hiccup.
"Where is he? He's late than ever." Astrid said to herself. 'Maybe he's handling the dragons.' she thought. She went to check on him.
Astrid was walking along the rocks finding for Hiccup after someone told her that he went into the woods. As she was walking, she heard noises behind the rocks. As soon as she sneaked a peek she saw Merida trying to kiss Hiccup. Hiccup didn't do anything to stop her, instead he was just letting her do anything.
"What are you doing?" shouted Astrid at Hiccup and Merida. " Astrid! I didn't realize you were there." said Hiccup pulling away from Merida. Hiccup was walking towards Astrid trying to kiss her on the cheek. Astrid backed away.
"What's wrong , babe? Did I do something wrong?"
Astrid widened her eyes. "Did you just seriously asked me that?" Astrid shouted. "Do you think I'm blind?! I saw what you did!" she said, full of anger.
"Both of you!" she turned to Merida. "Why are you trying to kiss him?" Astrid looked at Merida.
Merida didn't say anything but grinned.
"And why didn't you do anything?" she turned to Hiccup. "Who am I, huh?!" she shouted. Astrid walked away with tears in her eyes but she tried so hard not to cry.
"Astrid, wait!" Hiccup called.
"Just let her be." Merida stopped him by pulling his hand.
"No!" he said sternly and left to chase Astrid.
