So basically tonight was an impression night. I had to impress Meredith's parents to convince them that I'm good enough for their girl. I already met Meredith's brother, Isacc. You can say us both hit it off. But I'm freaking out with the parents. My mind is practically blowing up with questions and doubts. Will they like or hate me? Will they accept me in the family? Thats basically my mind right now.

I'm with Meredith now, in her house. Just waiting for her dad to come home from work. He is a busy man after all as the chief of Berk. Meredith's mom, Merida has been nice but she literally shot me looks since I've ever stepped foot into this house. Meredith's dad was home now due to the hassle and noise from the front. Just in time to let my train of thought slip away. When Mer's* dad walked in, I swear I thought that I was looking at myself just slightly older and mature looking. I was still a boy so... "Hey, son. I'm Hiccup, Meredith's dad. Nice to meet you."said Hiccup while Mer was just standing there grinning at me. I smiled back and introduced myself to Hiccup. Isacc walked in and hung around until he said that he was gonna go out with his friends.

Hiccup's POV

Where did I see him? I swear I saw Astrid's eyes looking back at me but it wasn't possible. Hiccstrid looked so much like Astrid that I noticed that Merida was getting a bit uncomfortable with his presence. I ignored it because Merida will just snap at me in front of the kids and she'll start a fight soon after that. "So, Hiccstrid. Mer told me that you were fatherless. Is that true?" I asked. Hiccstrid's face was turning a bit pale before he recollected himself, telling us the reason to why he was fatherless. As he was finished, Merida excused herself to the kitchen with Mer, I decided to try and take in more information. "Hiccstrid. What was your mother's name?" I asked. "Well her name is Astrid. I only know that. And all I know is that she ran away because her so-called boyfriend cheated on her and left her to be with someone else." Hiccstrid revealed. Astrid is his mother?!? How come I didn't know he existed? Well if I wasn't douche back then. It was pretty shocking but we both know that the father will be me because by the explanation Hiccstrid gave, explained it all.
