Alaska

My mother made it home at around eleven at night.

I waited for her and we talked about the trip and how it was a success as always.

Now I lay here in my bed, at 3 am texting the only other person who I know would be awake.

Alaska: I so don't want to go to school later

Calum: then ditch

Alaska: ditch is not in my vocabulary

Calum: what's so bad about skipping school

Alaska: nothing bad about it, I just don't like missing days

Calum: I see, I bet you have a perfect attendance

Calum: like a good girl

Alaska: I don't see a problem with that

Alaska: it looks good on my record

Calum: you're even cute when youre trying to act smart

Alaska: I am smart):

Calum: never said you weren't (;

Alaska: so like

Alaska: I have a question

Calum: yeah?

Alaska: the stuff that happened a few days ago

Alaska: what did it mean

Alaska: like why did you kiss me?

Calum: for starters

Calum: I thought you were really cute in the moment

Calum: and the rest I kinda lost it

Alaska: lost it?

Calum: I mean, the hoodie that barely went down to your thighs?

Calum: your knee high socks?

Calum: and I think it was a little lacey wasn't it?

Lacey, what in the worl- oh my goodness he's talking about my damn underwear.

Alaska: um, yeah they were

Calum: i could've done more but

Calum: you're too innocent for it

Calum: and honestly, it drives me mad

I feel my cheeks get warm and the knotting begins.

Alaska: more? What do you mean

Calum: more as in, not just kissing

Alaska: oh

Calum: I bet you're blushing right now
