Lumabas siya na yakap ang kanyang libro at malong. Magbibilad na lang siya sa araw habang nagbabasa. Iinggitin niya si Melody ng kanyang tanlines.

Bongga ang sea shore ng Temptation Island, maaaring tumapat sa Boracay kung ganda rin lang ang pagbabasehan. Naalala niya ang gabing nagdaan. She cooked dinner for Wyatt, they talked about random things and exes. They both pissed off each other at some point which ended Wyatt making her the first ever slushy she tasted and they cuddled until they fell asleep.

"Perfectly peaceful." She said honestly. Mayroong 'di pamilyar na pakiramdam ang bumalot sa kanyang puso. It was a happy kind of bliss but it was just a coating, beneath the bliss was a bitter taste of a reality that everything was just temporary.

How could someone think something happy that it could be so painful at the same time? Sa sobrang saya ng kanyang pakiramdam ay nasasaktan na agad siya sa posibilidad na matatapos din naman ang lahat.

Ika-tatlong araw niya palang sa isla pero dama na niya ang pagbabago. Naging malungkot sa pandinig ang alon na humahampas sa buhangin. Parang binigyan siya nito ng background music na siya lang ang nakakarinig.

Seriously, Miru. Attached ka agad sa Temptation Island?

Well, kung pupwede lang maging guerilya dito, o di kaya NPA na titira doon sa bulubundukin. Or better yet, apply as a waitress? Kanino kaya pupwedeng magpasa ng resume?
