Mariana's (POV)

I was in the kitchen with Hayley and Callie doing homework and then Emma came down to get a drink. Hayley looked at me and then she kissed me. "Ugh get a room you two" Emma said. "Okay you should talk you always kiss you girlfriends in front of us" I said. "Well I don't have a girlfriend anymore so shut it" she said. "Fine whatever" I said. I saw her look over at Callie and smile. Callie blushed a little and then Emma looked at me. "Mariana can I talk to you for a second" Emma asked. "Um sure" I said. She pulled me out onto the porch and I looked at her waiting for her to speak. "Can I take Callie out" she asked. "Why are you asking me that. Shouldn't you be asking her" I said. "Well you're her best friend and I didn't want you to be pissed at me for asking her and not talking to you about it first" She said. "Yes you can take Callie out but if you hurt her I will kill you" I said. "Okay thanks" She said. We both went inside and Emma went over to Callie and whispered something in her ear I'm guessing it was about the date because I saw Callie smile and nod. "Hey so I have to go home and get ready but I'll see you guys tomorrow" Callie said. "Do you want me to drive you home" Emma asked. "Please" Callie said. "Alright let's go then" Emma said. Callie grabbed her bag and they went to the front door and left.

Callie's (POV)

I got in the car with Emma and I gave her directions to my house. "So is there a reason why you asked me out" I asked. "Well I just think you're cute" she said. "You know to be honest I wish you would've asked me out weeks ago" I said. "Really and why is that" She asked. "Because we've known each other for almost a month and you just decided to do it" I said. "Well I never did because I didn't know if you felt the same way about me that I did about you" She said. "Well now you that I do" I said. I smiled at her and we pulled up to my house. "So I'll come get you at 7:00" She said. "Oh I'm not gonna be that long so I just thought that you could come in and wait for me" I said. "I can't go out like this Callie I look like shit" She said. "No you don't you look great" I said. "Okay fine" She said. We both got out of the car and I stopped her before I opened the front door. "So my dad is super protective when it comes to me and dating" I said. "Okay I'll be on my best behavior" She said. "Also um so my Dads last name is different than mine" I said. She looked at me for a minute confused. "I'll explain later. Anyway his last name is Quinn" I said. "K" She said. I unlocked the front door and I walked in and found my Dad Jill and Sofia sitting in the kitchen. "Hi" I said. "Hi" They said. "Um this is Emma she's gonna take me out on a date" I said. My Dad got up and came over to me and Emma and put his hand out for Emma to shake it. "It's really nice to meet you Emma" he said. "You too Mr. Quinn" Emma said. "You can call me Robert" He said. "This is my wife Jill" He said pointing over to where she's sitting. "Nice to meet you" she said. "Yeah you too" Emma said. "And this is Sofia my daughter" he said. "Hey" she said. "Hey" Emma said. "Okay" I said. I grabbed Emma's hand and took her upstairs to my room with me.

Emma's (POV)

I went upstairs to Callie's room after meeting her family. "I think they really like you" She said. "Why do you say that" I asked. "Because my sister doesn't talk to anyone I bring home and my dad never let's anyone call him Robert" She said. "Wow" I said. "Yeah" she said. She went into the bathroom with some clothes and I sat on the bed while I waited for her. My phone started ringing and I checked who it was and it was my Mom. "Hello" I said. "Hi my love where are you" she asked. "Mariana didn't tell you" I asked. "No" She said. "I am taking Callie out on a date" I said. "Oh nice where are you going" She asked. "I don't know" I said. "Okay well have fun and be safe please" she said. "Alright Mom" I said. I hung up the phone and Callie came out of the bathroom a few minutes later. "Wow you look good" I said. "Really" she asked. "Yeah" I said. She was wearing a Red and white plaid shirt some jeans and black and white high top converse. "Ready" I asked. "Yeah" she said. I opened the door for her and she stepped out I walked a little in front of her and she said my name. "Yeah" I said. She walked over to me and grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers. I smiled at her and we walked downstairs slowly. "Cal" Robert said. "Yeah" Callie asked. "Try to be home soon" He said. "Actually if it's okay can I stay at Emma's" She asked. "Yes but you know the rules" Robert said. "Yeah I know I'm gonna sleep on the floor in Mariana's room" she said. "Okay" Robert said. We walked out to my car and got in. "You're parents are chill about you staying at my house" I said. "Yeah that's because they trust me but I don't always follow their rules" She said. "Alright" I said. "Where do you want to go" I asked. "Mmm how about Granny's" She said. "Alright Granny's it is" I said. I began to drive down the street and over to Granny's.

Ruby's (POV)

I was getting someone's order and I heard the little bell on the door which meant that someone was coming in. I looked over and saw Emma holding hands with a girl about her age and they sat down at a booth I went behind the counter to tell the cook the order I just took. After I gave him the order I turned around and I looked over to the table and no one was over there taking their order so I thought that I would do it. I grabbed the notepad I have to carry around with me and I walked over to their table. "Hi Emma" I said. She looked up at me and hesitated for a second. "Hi" she said. "Who's your friend" I asked. "That's non of your business" she said. "Whoa okay calm down no need to get defensive. But if I remember correctly you told me you weren't ready for a relationship" I said. "It was a month ago Ruby ok and I only said that cause i didn't want to be with you" She said. I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. "Can you take our order please" she said. I turned around and I saw Belle standing behind the counter not doing anything. "Belle" I said. "Yeah" she said. "Can you come take this order I need a break" I said. "Sure" she said she came over to me and I handed her the notepad and walked outside and sat down on a table. I put my head down for a few minutes then someone spoke. "You Alright" someone asked. I looked up and saw my childhood friend Killian Jones. "Oh my god Killian" I said. I jumped up and hugged him he laughed a little. He let go and saw that I was crying he wiped my tears away with his thumbs. "What's wrong" he asked. "I just got out of a breakup and it's just been hard" I said. "Ah I'm sorry" he said. "It's all good" I said. He sat down and we talked for a few minutes and then Emma came out holding hands with that Brunette again. Killian looked over at the door and he knew exactly who that was because Me Emma Killian and Neal grew up together. "Emma" He said. She looked over and smiled at him a little. "Hey Killian" She said. Killian got up and went over to hug Emma she hugged him back and then he looked at the Brunette. "Who's this" He asked. "This is Callie my girlfriend" She said. "It's nice to meet you love" he said. "You too" Callie said. "I have to get home" Emma said. She looked at me and then walked past Killian not even looking back.
