Trying to apologize

Ruby's (POV)
I woke up to my alarm going off at 7:00 and then Emma woke up. "Turn it off" Emma said. "Sorry" I said. She turned on her side and went back to sleep I got out of bed slowly and put a shirt on. I walked out of the room closing the door softly behind me. I walked over to Henry's room and opened the door and I shook him a little. "Henry" I said. He opened his eyes and looked at me. "Come on you gotta get up and shower to go to school" I said. "Okay" he said. He got up and went over to his closet and started grabbing clothes. I left the room and I past by my room and I heard Emma on the phone with someone. "Damn it" Emma said. I walked in slowly and she put her jacket on and grabbed her phone. "Is everything okay" I asked. "Yeah we've been on break for school and I forgot that we have to go back today" she said. She ran downstairs and we both found Henry downstairs eating cereal. "Hey kid" Emma said. She kissed his head and went over to the fridge. "Can I get some beers" she asked. "Yeah sure why" I asked. "I'm gonna take some for my siblings" she said. "Okay" I said.

Emma's (POV)
"Alright come on let's go kid" I said to Henry. "Okay" he said. "Ruby can I borrow your car I promise I'll have my own car soon" I said. "Yes and don't worry about it" she said. "Thanks" I said. She handed me her car keys and she grazed my hand with her thumb slightly. I grabbed my bag and Henry grabbed his and we went out the door to Ruby's car. I backed out of the drive way and drove the way to Henry's school. "So when are you asking her out" Henry asked. "When am I asking who out" I asked. "Ruby" he said. "I don't like Ruby" I said. "Yeah you do" he said. "How do you know" I asked. "I pay attention" he said. "Fine I like Ruby" I said. We pulled up to the parking lot of his school and before he left he said: "So when are you asking her" I chuckled a little. "Go to school kid" I said laughing. "Okay love you Mom" he said. "Love you too bud" I said. He closed the door and ran over to his friends. I drove off and when I got to school I was already ten minutes late so I knew I had to get a ticket from the office which meant I had to go to either Monte or Mamma. I walked inside trying not walk to fast because the beers were in my bag. "Hi I need a late slip" I said to the lady in the office" "Name" she asked. "Emma Adams Foster" I said. "Alright here you go" she said. I walked down the hallway to my locker and opened it and put my bag inside. I walked to where Monte's office is and I saw a note that said she won't be in today. "Of course" I whispered to myself. I walked over to Mammas office and I knocked on the door.

Lena's (POV)
I heard a knock on my door while I was looking through some paperwork and I looked up. "Come in" I said. The door opened and I saw Emma come in with a slip in her hand. "Hi Emma" I said. She just looked up at me a little but didn't say anything. She put the slip on my desk and began to walk out. "Emma" I said. She turned around and looked at me. "Why are you twenty minutes late" I asked. "It doesn't matter" she said. She reached for the doorknob and I got up and went over to the door and put my hand on it. "Why are you late" I asked again a little more sternly this time. "I had to take Henry to school" she said. "You could have just said that" I said. "Yeah well if you didn't notice I don't really want to say anything to you or Mom right now. "Well Who's fault is that" I asked. "Obviously it's mine" she said. "Okay" I said. "But it's not my fault that you and Mom don't tell me things" she said. "Emma it wasn't our place to tell you and we didn't want you to get hurt" I said. "Yeah well I did Mamma" she said. "I know" I said. "I got hurt that Neal left and he told me on my birthday if you would've told me a week even a few days before my birthday then yeah I would've been hurt but I wouldn't be mad at you and Mom right now. So if you think about it it's not my fault I'm not talking to you and Mom it's yours" She said. "Can I go" she asked. I let go of the door and she opened the door and I saw her walk down the hallway.

Emma's (POV)
It was finally lunch time and I saw all my siblings in the hallway so I gestured them to come to my locker. "Okay so I brought something" I said. "What" Brandon asked. I pulled out four beers and handed one to Mariana Jesus and Brandon and I kept one for me. "Yes you're officially my favorite" Jesus said. We went out to the tables and sat down. "Wait how are we opening these" Brandon asked. "Here" I said. I put my hand out and they all handed me their beer. I took the beers and lined the cap up with the corner of the table and hit the cap on the corner and it opened the beer. I did that to all four and then Jude came and sat down. "Hey can I have one" he asked pointing to the beers. "How old are you" I asked. "15" he said. "No" I said. "Oh come one please" he asked. "No jude" I said. "Please" He said. I looked around the table at everyone and they shrugged their shoulders. "Fine you can have one but your lucky your my brother" I said. I got up and went to my locker and grabbed the last beer I went back out and opened it the same way I opened the other beers. He put his hand out to take it but I pulled it back. "Before I give you this you can't tell anyone I gave it to you" I said. "If by anybody you mean Moms I won't" he said. I handed him the beer and we all took a sip. "Cheers" Jesus said. We all clanked our beers together and took a sip. Everyone looked behind me and put their beers under the table. "What" I said. Brandon pointed behind me and I turned around and saw my mom walking over to our table. I got up and walked past her. She grabbed my arm and stopped me.

Stef's (POV)
I went to meet Lena for lunch and I saw the kids sitting at a table and I saw Emma so I went over to the table and Brandon pointed at me and Emma turned around. She got up and walked past me but I grabbed her arm and stopped her. "What Mom" she said. "Can I walk with you" I asked. "Well I'm gonna say no but you're gonna do it anyway so I don't think I have a choice" she said. "That's true" I said. She walked in front of me and I linked my arm with hers and she put her hand her pocket. She took a sip of her beer and we kept walking. "You're just gonna drink that in front of me"I said. "I really don't care at this point" she said. "Emma I'm sorry" I said. "Okay I already had this conversation with Mamma and I don't wanna have it again with you" she said. She pulled her arm away from mine and walked away. Normally I would follow her but this time I just left it alone.
